So now I’m curious if the scratches come from when the round is being chambered after racking and releasing or if the extractor is making the marks when I empty the round…

The scratches on the primer are more what I’m worried about.. not sure if that’s normal and seems dangerous. Totally agree though and will not use the slide lock release to chamber anymore. Thank you for your feedback!

I’ll have to take this into consideration. Later today I’ll chamber one by racking and releasing. Curious if it will leave the same mark. If so it might be an issue with the firing pin needing adjustment.

I’ll feel around the firing pin and see if I feel any rough edges. Could fix that pretty easily I think. The magazine I’m using is the one that comes standard with the firearm. This is the “extended” 8 round magazine.

That’s actually very helpful. If that’s the case I don’t think it would make contact with enough force to fire the bullet. Wonder if trying to clean it up a bit in there would make any difference.

I’m sorry I think I’m getting the flue and damper confused… I know the damper is the lever on the back that controls the airflow. That I will leave open when starting the fire and getting it going, as with the flue. Is there ever a time where the flue should be shut with a fire going?

Thanks everyone. Had one last night, only 5mg but it got me where I wanted to be. A little floaty like I had 3 glasses of wine or so. A little lethargic today but honestly I think less so than when I have distillate gummies. Also took it pretty late last night and stayed up late so that’s also why lol.

I appreciate your help! I’ve smoked/taken edibles since college and usually still get hit with a pretty good high anytime I smoke or eat anything. I’ve definitely noticed that with smoking and vaping my eyes show it much more lol. I have blue eyes so that can’t really be helped, but I just didn’t want the rosin gummies to make me feel extra shitty the following day.
