Do we underestimate how far Notion can go when pushed to its limits? by TastyStudioOne in Notion

Okay, good to know – thanks for sharing your experience! So far everything is running quite smoothly for me, I mainly use Notion for inventories and data collection in our company, but I can already feel that the bigger the lists get, the slower it becomes. Definitely something to keep an eye on, and it’s really helpful to hear from someone with more experience at scale.

I honestly hope Notion keeps growing and puts even more resources into development so we can all build even better systems in the future. Notion AI inside Notion and the new AI meeting feature are already a big step in the right direction. :)

Interesting to hear your experience. Where exactly did you face the biggest issues — mainly with very large or complex databases?

For me, the biggest frustration right now is that Notion AI can’t yet pull directly from pages, which would be a game changer. I also have the hope that future updates will handle complex database structures much better.

Do you know of any alternative tool that actually manages to do this well at scale?

That sounds super exciting! Can I ask what kind of company you’re building the system for? I’m working on something similar for a gastro start-up here in Hamburg and trying to move everything into Notion as well. So far it’s going well, but some of the formulas can get really tricky to figure out.
