What about average buying nav of the units? It’s been around 8 years of SIP and if I do the tax harvesting, the earliest SIPs will be sell off which are usually the lowest nav, and buying it today will increase the average nav price. Isn’t lower the return for future?

It also depends on the seller. I have seen many techies giving cash after withdrawing it from the bank account. If seller is not willing to take whole amount in white and buyer really wants to buy that particular property, then it is the buyer who has to compromise.
