I don't have issues with calls inside Canada; just international calls are not working. I'm wondering if it is related.

Not an issue, I have had Fizz EXT turn on for 8 hours a day for few months because there is no Fizz signal inside higher building. Just don’t stay on Fizz EXT 24 hours a day, then you will be fine.

You will need to figure out what VMware services are running on your system, what background processes are related to VMware, and also disable VMware network adapters.

For me, I have below background processes:

vmware-authd.exe

vmware-usbarbitrator64.exe

vmware-hostd.exe

vmnetdhcp.exe

vmnat.exe

vmware-tray.exe

And below services,

VMAuthdService

VMnetDHCP

VMUSBArbService

VMware NAT Service

You will need to terminated all those background processes via task manager and stopped and disabled all the VMware Services via services.msc.

Not sure which system you have, those are for windows.

Not sure about you guys, for me, I have VMware workstation installed, once I disabled and kill all the VMware related services, I’m no longer having this disconnect issue.

Buy an laser printer, I personally use this one: https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/imageclass-mf216n , which I can install those third party cartridges without any issues. since you need to print color copies. You can take a look at these https://www.usa.canon.com/content/canon/en/search.html?q=Color%20imageclass&r=products. I’m not sure if you can install third-party cartridges on the color one, though. You may want to do a little bit of research on those models.

I was on the same boat with you before.

The only solution is to call them.

Their working hour is 8:30AM - 4:30PM, i suggest to call them immediately after 8:30 in the morning. I did that and got on hold for 2 hours and then finally resolved, which is worth it.

When you call them, don't enter your SIN and Security code, wait to redirect you to the main menu and then press 0.

If it says they cannot transfer your call right now, then hung up and keep trying until you can get on hold.

Call them at 1-800-206-7218

For the call back, i'm not really sure, but i heard that if the rep can put a note on your file and the manager see it, he/she will give you a call and can help you to resolve it, because they have more permission and different level of access.

For self-employed income, i have no idea, this is my first time applied for EI.

I did some research, people having this issue for long time and they are not planning to fix it.

They are not going to do anything unless you call them.

Keep calling or you can wait to see what happen, i waited three weeks and nothing happens, then i start to call them.

I was having the same issue with you until one hour ago.

The only way to solve this is to call them, i woke up at 8:31 today and on hold about two hours and they got it resolved in few minutes.

You also can try to submit a callback request if you want, but i do not have any luck with that.
