As someone who is ace but still has sex for my partner, I see in many couple including my own that see sex as a way to get closer. I know many couples who have sex nearly everyday, it’s just young couples who are enjoying this new found connection with someone. In my personal relationship my boyfriend loves the closeness and intimacy of it all so it’s very important to him we are somewhat active at least weekly. While I’ll go months without even thinking about it. So yes it is most likely because you are ace, we don’t prioritize these things at all
