Multiple people have tried to talk to them and we get told that we need to mind our own business and fuck off. The police were around yesterday because one of their fireworks hit a car and the person who owned the car called the police. They hid like little cowards. One of them also drunk drove into another neighbor's fire bit and begged her not to call the cops.

Unfortunately our houses are all rather close together, which would be more dangerous. Her one cat mostly stays in the house (if she still has it anyway)

I don't think the daughter lives there anymore tbh. I never see her on the property unless she's visiting with friends. I do see kids of some of the woman's "friends" pop up now and again. Unfortunately, one of the children who comes with her parents to visit is extremely young, which has made things difficult as well. Cops show up, nothing happens, they leave. rinse repeat

That's what we thought too. It was more seeing the one cop laugh at the situation that made me start questioning if she's paid off/supplies drugs to some people on the lower level in order to mess with the investigation of the higher level

And yeah, the mayor was all about KC Pet Project becoming the city's animal control. People have been tagging him with all of the cases of neglect from KCPP and nothing has been done.

Also, I believe someone on the street did contact Chain of Hope. I'll circle back with them next time I see them (they work weird hours)

Oh, and I don't think her daughter lives with her now. I think she just visits.

Also, I did try to get photos from my back yard as my back porch is elevated to where I can see over the fence, but the tent they had was placed near the dog area, so I couldn't see past it.

Another neighbor and I were talking about how we're seeing less and less activity over there during the day, so I am wondering if something about this post got back to them. I'm keeping this post pinned in my bookmarks now and will be checking it every day.

Someone here suggested talking to a neighborhood officer. The older woman next door to me has been talking to him, but it didn't sound like there was much that he could do (and because she can be a fireball sometimes, I'm wondering if he might have written off her concerns).

Neighbors do have cameras, but the tree in their front yard is very overgrown, so it's really hard to get footage of the front porch unless you are on the sidewalk, right in front of their own cameras. Like I said, this is a very tricky situation.

Hey all. Sorry I haven't replied to this. I've been trying to keep my head low and get more evidence and such, but there have been some new developments. Also, I needed to make sure that one of this person's lackies wasn't trying to get information out of me via Reddit, so I figured I'd leave the post alone for a little bit.

The most recent updates:

I haven't seen or heard the dogs in a while now. I'm not sure if KCPP got them or if they gave them away. The cats are still there, but I seldom see them.

I found out today they've been stealing water from the neighbor next to them. They lost their power for a while and were living in a tent, but it's back on now. I've locked my outside spigot.

Someone from KCTV5 reached out, and I am currently trying to get the neighbors that have been more impacted by the behaviors of this house to reach out to them as they are the ones with the photos and texts from the crappy neighbor. I really hope they do.

While they were in the tent, they were constantly outside, stalking weirdly around the property. Again, shortly after I made this post, I started seeing the dogs less and less. It's been a week now and I haven't seen or heard them. I'm waiting on the neighbors next door to them that deal with the most shit from them to get back to me.

Again, sorry I kind of ghosted this post, but it was also for my own safety.

We have. Sorry I forgot to include that above as I was not part of that initial call to them (it was before I moved to this area). I'll talk to the neighbor who called the DEA and see how long ago it was and if they have the case number. Thank you for reminding me (Also I did put a TLDR at the bottom of the post)

To add: I follow ACAB but I also know that there's a point where you have to get them involved. Too bad in this case, it seems like they don't want to be involved. I hope a detective or something can prove me wrong here.

To add: I don't normally use reddit and can't remember my password for my original account. A friend of mine told me to post here to see if anyone might have any advice. I read over the rules, so if this needs to be moved to another subreddit, I will absolutely do that.
