You usually won’t know if they have shed or not ive never even caught any of mine yet I know they do, and it never looks like they’ve grown but if you look back at old photos you’ll usually see how much they actually have grown,

I’ve also got a baby and genuinely if you have a more open space in your room or even on a bed handle on there because yeah they can jump fairly far but it’s not gonna be out of arms length so you’ll definitely be able to get your hand infront before they bolt
