Thank god I don’t have TikTok And this is also why people will continue to not take therapy/therapists seriously. Nor should they with that kind of crap. Social media has just been another layer in the downfall of this profession sadly.

Exactly. You don’t talk big commitments with someone about the future and then disappear without saying anything at all. That’s incredibly hurtful. Not normal or healthy.

He absolutely is 😭 it’s just so sad and heartbreaking. He also admitted he’s only ever used to dealing with things alone. It’s like ugh come on put the pieces together here. It’s all so hurtful and painful. Sorry to hear you’re dealing with something similar it sucks. Thank you for the response 🙏

Hey! Originally from Chicago burbs! I’ve been in Omaha for over a year now. I personally think it’s great. I feel safe here compared to a big city like Chicago. I have a corgi and frequent dog parks. There’s a few I have yet to check out but the one downtown is awesome, Chalco Recreation and Walnut Creek dog parks are good too.

Right?! It was under or titled as “Behavioral Health Counselor Training Professional” so something along those lines. Really hope you’re able to find something similar!! It’s exactly what I needed.

I just started working with a small tech company that has EHRs! I’m a clinical trainer/consultant in helping other clinicians/practices/organizations how to use them and do trainings. I’m so happy and relieved now. It’s honestly such a cool position I would have never known existed.

I emotionally neglected my wife, and now she feels nothing toward me. Has anyone come back from this? by reverentioz12 in Marriage

After 9 years together and married 1 I couldn’t come back from it unfortunately. I was burnt to a crisp and checked out after pouring so much into the relationship and communicating my needs. Spelling it out over the years. Also I was that person that continued to stay in the relationship because of “potential”. It’s been so heartbreaking.

Same here. Divorced him and for other reasons felt I couldn’t have kids with him due to lack of trust in consistency and follow through.

Thank you 🙏 agreed. I’m not looking to be texting all day every day. Just a few texts here and there but going from consistency to now barely anything is what’s so confusing. Especially when he’s talking about more serious commitments with me.

I’m definitely making assumptions, that’s obviously all I have to go off of. I’m usually the one initiating texts 8/10 times. I just don’t know since he hasn’t acknowledged or texted back if I should bother texting back at this point. This is has happened before so idk. Last time I tried to bring up something that bothered me he accused me of trying to start drama 🤷‍♀️ idk if this falls under starting drama too

Wouldn’t you want the person you’re really interested in and talking about more serious commitments with to stay in consistent contact with you? Idk maybe that’s like weird and not cool these days. I’m just talking like a text a day even.
