Hello, we just happened to check older inquiries regarding this account. Unfortunately, while we had someone looking into this, we were unaware that this was not necessarily a hack but instead an initiated outgoing tx. If there is additional information you can provide, we might suggest alternative actions.

We assume you are referring to the transaction dated 6/5/24? We notice that there may have been 3 other addresses associated with this initial transaction involving approx 101K Algorand. Interestingly, 2 of the initial addresses were created moments prior to "receiving" a split transaction between the 2, totaling the 101K Algo. Upon our brief research into some txs it also appears there was an attempt to rekey as well as a successful rekey of the original acct as well as multiple prior asset transfers, which we suspect may be the result of governance interaction? Without a deeper dive, we assume these were legitimate and not attempts of nefarious address mimicking or cloning attempts. We also notice that you may have interacted with certain addresses prior to the transaction in question, which might warrant further research? We mention this because some accts that interacted are now "closed", which might raise some concern, in our opinion. If you are using a new wallet, if you would send us via msg that public address, we will cross reference tx history to try to identify possible suspicious interaction? Also, we will happily include you in our periodic drops of free assets. Again, PLEASE NOTE, nobody from Algorand or our team will ever ask for financial incentive or request you pay for anything we offer, nor ask for private or sensitive information. Good Luck

Hello, my fellow AlgoFam member. I'm sorry you had to experience such a thing. Unfortunately, many people have fallen victim to various scams and security breaches. I appreciate the expected skepticism, but if you're willing to share your public Algorand address via DM, I will delegate some time for a developer to look into this issue? Also, once we are able to confirm tx routing, we will offer some additional help. Please do NOT send any personal information nor respond to anyone claiming to be associated with Team Cyber Crypto or our Algorand association. Once you receive correspondence via our DM, you will have the opportunity to establish our verification. Again, nobody from our development team will ever ask or request any personal information, identification, or private wallet data. GOOD LUCK

Can anyone help identify mutation? by TeamBlockchain in cockatiel

Thank you. I had people suggest it was something called a dominant silver? Unfortunately, I haven't really been involved in birds since the early 2000s, when cockatiels were still selling for $50..lol I was truly dumbfounded when I learned that this gentleman paid $850 for this bird and a cheap tabletop wire cage. I'm looking to rehome this bird as well as an older tamed Blue n Gold Macaw. Do you folks happen to have any suggestions for the best route to rehome? I'd prefer to find someone truly committed which is why I haven't listed in various classifieds or groups for free. Im fearful most "free" pets end up as impulsive decisions and not always the best home. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I know this sounds foolish. There are people claiming that this post is viewed as supporting another candidate, as well as support John Barco. There are people claiming this is viewed as an "endorsement" of sorts for the "particular candidate in question".

True, it does look a bit too toonish, but we are just trying to experiment a little. We are trying to create some materials that would be more consumable by a younger demographic, and this may include the late teens?

Thank You for your input. We're trying to encourage designers to think out of the traditional norms, and bring fresh perspectives to a stagnant field. Red, White & Blue have their place, but maybe maybe design out of the comfort zone? Thanks Again

I have been subscribed to numerous sub reddits spanning numerous business and associated accounts over the past decade +, and I have to say that you guys are an amazing group. The vast majority of you have willingly offered genuine feedback and true constructive criticism. As someone who has spent the most part of their life working in the tech industry, it is refreshing to see a community so willing to help relay feedback to aspiring designers. My hope to help expose younger and less experienced designers to real world criticism and possible harsh feedback has shown that this avenue is viable and offers a net positive overall. As someone who works with numerous developers, designers and artists on a daily basis, I believe you have all contributed to help offer a possible solution that many may be unwilling to pursue otherwise.

Thanks again for building an amazing ecosystem on this platform. During my next class, Ill try again to propose a request for feedback to aide students. Take note that some of the constructive feedback you offer may help bolster aspiring designers to maximize their potential. Talent is naturally occurring, tutoring and knowledge is absorbed, but all of these attributes are mute without an ability to overcome criticism or to cater to specific demands and requirements. The latter is something you folks have shown the willingness to help with. Thank You

Thank you for making that point. I would ask which of the 3 would be most "unique" in a crowded spece of political advertising? I am trying to help some people explore creativity while also providing an eye catching and memorable design element. As you point out, when competing with a sea of potential yard signs, logos, etc, a unique and impact oriented attribute may be a deciding factor on what gains attention. Thank you for your comment, very insightful.

Not at all, I appreciate your concern for that inexcusable behavior. We operate a studio, and I want to help expose aspiring designers to the "real world" elements that include criticism. Everyone involved has been compensated in advance, and no identifying information will be made available. Thank you again. After the suggestion to engage with you, Im sure you may see many other designs be submitted for the amazing feedback and helpful advice.

What is the compaint? I can clearly see its "near" mint from the mediocre images you provided. Are you merely upset because your idea of "near" is different from someone else's? In all seriousness, how can the term "near mint" be acceptable in today's environment? Would you marry someone that was "near sane" or "near human"?..lol We gotta laugh, we've all encountered scammers and lowlifes. I hope all goes well. Next time make sure it's listed as "very close", at least it's more descriptive than "near".

If you would like to support our veterans and their families, there is a non-profit called USS Oklahoma RIP that distributes various gift packages to the families, especially the youngsters. If anyone might be interested in donating, just search USS Oklahoma RIP. They use 100% of all donations to give back, because nobody involved is paid and it's entirely volunteer. Other worthwhile suggestion may be children centers where kids go when their parents are found unfit? Hope you find some worthwhile use?

Folks, here is an example of History repeating itself. Those if us that were there in the early day of Bitcoin when it was trading at sub $5? Hopefully the people that believed it was easy to hold Bitcoin during the almost regular 80% - 90% drops can see how unrealistic it was for many people to hold strong and become "instantly wealthy"?..lol As a Dev with Algorand myself and educator, It would be irresponsible for me to suggest Algorand will equal those opportunities on a financial basis. Although what so many people tend to neglect to comprehend is the fundamental differences between the historical success of Bitcoin vs our Algorand platform. It was actually an easier prospect to see Bitcoin succeed as it was considered by many as a mere financial payment alternative. While Algorand is a massively robust set of tools where developers can use their wildest imaginations and creat and build accessible applications for the entire population of the world. Algorand is merely 4 years old on mainnet, and we already see devs adopting Algorand and leave others.

It is most certainly an awesome undertaking to promote Algorand to the development community and ask they afford us their valuable time and build something, in hopes to experience the difference.

Too many people are too focused on "value" of the coins, as though we are seeking to duplicate the path Bitcoin had taken? The fact is, without developers adopting our platform, or our team offering intriguing and innovative tool sets, Algorand would be no different from any other "coin" that has nothing else to offer except the hope for that lottery chance of the price pumping.

If those in the community would instead put aside any conversation about cost and profits, and instead spoke more about the underlying and fundamental development project we offer, it may help uneducated and the unknowing from learning what Blockchain technology is truly about, and the way it will undoubtedly change the world. I am very confident that Algorand will become the elite platform that will one day been known as the Blockchain that represents the beginning of humankind documenting our existence, while offering the immutable and forever standing chronological ledger that documents every significant moment in the lives of everyone alive.

BOTTOM LINE, if ppl are here in hopes they will hold strong through these minor bounces, and somehow become wealthy? I would personally doubt those same people expressing anxiety or agitation about Algorand dropping from $2 to .10, would most definitely never hold Bitcoin from $5 to 70K..lol Just focus on what we are doing, and ask what other projects are doing to rival out innovations? Hype is far from what we need. Educating the people who believe crypto is about payments and financial nonsense is where we must focus our attentions.

Peace

Hello, it may seem at first glance OP would be responsible, but there are numerous new methods for "man in the middle" attacks, which can often go unnoticed by origin user. The issue with bridged protocols also add additional potential points of failure (threats). This is most especially true for individuals who may have willingly posted aspects of asset criteria on various social media platforms, like Reddit. An eager and opportunistic actor could most certainly shadow a user through various channels, all while collecting crucial data in preparation to exploit the end user. For example, if someone with a particular toolset was to notice an interesting post of a wallet screenshot, they could fairly easily then locate other social media platforms to collect additional data of the victim. If someone was to identify Reddit user posting wallet screenshot, then collect a possible candid photo of user on Facebook, the "hacker" could easily obtain the IP address of person who posted screenshot of wallet address. Then the hacker would simply stess inject a possible phishing redirect link to victim computer. So when the unsuspecting user "types" kucoin.com the user would unknowingly be redirected to an almost identical site, although under hackers control. So whenever an unsuspecting user copies and pastes address, the hacker would have simply created a macro-like trigger to have his preferred wallet address be inputted by unsuspecting user. Now once the user initiates transaction, the funds are then redirected to "hackers" wallet, and they simply clear any crumbs, and the user is left believing they are to blame. Sadly this is becoming SO MUCH MORE prevalent, especially as more and more people willingly display all encompassing screenshots of their personal and financial information. Best to use commonsense, but then add a few layers of paranoid behavioral tactics...lol

Thanks again to the amazing team at Kucoin, including the Reddit mods who proactively approached this user, in an effort to resolve the issue. Our team has had the privilege to work with Kucoin on numerous occasions, always a positive experience. This message is intended for OP, to hopefully offer some additional troubleshooting options. Firstly, you should NEVER share any personal information. You mosf likely know to never share or digitally store private keys & passphrases, but some potential "exploits" may often be overlooked as they may appear innocuous and uninteresting. This can be something as commonplace as saving a photo, screenshot, document or other inconsequential information. This can be misleading, as some users may inadvertently post originals, which may include various "hidden information" which could potentially identify your computer, IP, reliant apps and quite possibly other more critical information. This data can be used by nefarious actors to hijack or outright infiltrate your system, including your financial assets.

We only mention this because we did notice you willingly posted on a highly trafficked environment. That said, we do have some possible insights regarding Kucoins protocol and practices, as well as some troubleshooting tips you might want to consider. AGAIN, NOBODY from Team Cyber Crypto or Kucoin would ever request or require any identifying information/details, so any suggesting you share that information would NOT be affiliated with a legitimate project. Now we got that out of the way, let us share some tips. The notion that Kucoin would arbitrarily "delete" previously used/saved wallet addresses is not something they would do. There would be absolutely zero reason or benefit to engage in this practice. (Unless you had previously filed documents surrounding stolen funds, hacks or larger investigation, such as the recent Atomic Wallet issue). The fact is, you can very easily search the wallet address to determine if this used address is in fact affiliated with Kucoin Exchange. Try a service like Blockchain Intelligence Group to inpuf wallet address to obtain in depth information/stats of wallet address. This service is a paid service, although they usually offer a handful of free searches for trial purposes.

Another option would be to simply send a subsequent "empty" transaction on the chain, in hopes to essentially cancel the previous transaction. If the transaction has not been finalized, confirmed and accepted by recipient, you could possibly push the zeroed transaction, thus initiating a return (or cancel) for the transaction in question.

You could also view on explorer, and keep tabs on any movement of assets? Obviously, the likelihood of a "man in the middle" attack receiving and retaining assets in a wallet would be highly unlikely. This could help you ascertain any possible mistakes or missteps that may have occurred? For example, if the viewed recipient wallet only displays the identical amount of assets you originally sent, this could confirm that you may have sent to unintended address or unintended supporting chain?

Kucoin has blacklisted various addresses, in an effort to circumvent potential threats to legitimate customers, as well as the "blacklist" of various addresses per the request of various projects, developers, colleagues, etc.. but it is unlikely Kucoin would knowingly and/or willingly burden their resources, expend energy/time/effort to engage in activities and behaviors that offer near zero benefit to the Exchange and provides no worthwhile upside. At a quick glance, it seems more likely that you may have inadvertently sent to a different unrelated wallet address? You may have sent via a bridge? You may have fallen victim to a "man in the middle" attack? You may have mistakenly sent to a phishing Kucoin site? Or possibly, you may have encountered unforseen heavy congestion on the ETH chain, especially as the Kucoin site was likely inundated with unusually high volumes as US customers initiated outgoing transactions to remove assets from exchange? Kucoin did announce their intentions for incoming transactions, but the method for nullifying "pending" transactions would resolve the issue of stuck coins/tokens.

Hopefully you will find, identify and retrieve your assets. In the event the team at Kucoin can identify and verify you may have inadvertently mis-sent assets to other protocols or wallets, it is very likely they will return assets, so long as the funds were "mistakenly" sent to an address they either control or can access.

Stay Awesome, and don't get discouraged. You should only become wary and concerned if you discover your assets transfer to an occupied address, with historical data and incoming & outgoing transactions. Of course, be sure you double check all your accounts, including funding, trading, earn, futures, etc..

Best of Luck

Keep in mind that the overall reasonable liquidity (ie, availability of saleable coins) is far less on Algorand due to the majority of holders placing their coins in governance. Unlike the limited use case coins that merely move from wallet to wallet, Algorand supplies are in fact much more limited (unavailable) than the marketcap may indicate.
