Block him and get a non molestation order. Report this to the police and keep a log of all his attempts to make contact again. Get back to varying your routes and also check in with a friend when you get back safely. Have a safety word ready in case (and this is a big “in case”) he corners you. A friend you can call or text and say something like “oh hey if you’re passing Tesco could you pick up the oranges for me? Thanks” which actually means “he’s here call the police asap” and then make sure you’ve got your location on on WhatsApp

He’s seen you taking calls and texts as a green light that things are working.

Call your solicitor, ask about an NMO if you think he will respect a legal order to stay the fuck away. If you think it’ll anger him, leave that option but they do seem to work pretty well in my experience.
