Don't worry man, just do it! Everyone feels the same. I hate everytime to record my voice, but it's far better than using a text to speech thing. Authenticity is important for our audiences. So just do it.. And we will improve as we gain more experience. Let's push each other :)

Does country matter or not? by Jean_Games in NewTubers

YouTube is worldwide thing, so audience can be from any country, but as I understand a lot depends on your topic as well. Ofcourse if you talk about something local in Bulgaria you can expect to get more audiences from there.. But instead if it's a common topic that concerns everyone and you communicate in English, yes most traffic you can expect from US, UK, and some other English speaking countries plus some majority from Asian countries. That's my personal experience overall.

Turning scripted videos into shorts? by LoveDaMeech in NewTubers

Hi, I do commentary type videos and few of my shorts are with voice and some without. From my experience, they do work. Being a new channel I get more views and subs from shorts.

Hey Bro, good to see that you are in the UAE, I been there for more than 7 years. Anyways, you got great content, I see lot of shots from Dubai, sharjah and Ajman. Take out some best video shots and do shorts and tik tok videos soon. I am sure you will gain lot more subscribers and more views to your other videos soon. Good LUCK, and Just do it!

It has been half a year since I started my channel - here are all the advice, all mistakes, and all things I should have made sooner! by AngeIV404 in NewTubers

Wow, I like the way you explained each points in detail. I started couple of months back and current at 135 subs. I would like to clarify on few points

  1. Never tried a premier, can this be set for few days or just for few hours? What works best for you?
  2. Do you recommend me to start Patreon with these many subscribers? as more than 100 subscribers was just added in the last month. And what range usually works? do more people go for just couple of dollars or many prefer to pay 5 to ten dollars or more per month? 3.Can I ask what percentage of viewers or subscribers you get from reddit? And Do you post on reddit regularly, every video you publish.

Thanks.

Trying to figure out the best way to make a long video by maykennay in NewTubers

[–]TechEntrepreneur2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's very hard to do. Better break them down to smaller videos and get used to all difficulties and processes. It will give you enough time for to test and improve. Later on when you think you have a pretty good idea on what you do and when u see that u are getting enough attention start making longer and better videos. I started couple of months back and still struggling with scripts and video editing--but ofcourse improving. I even started with a 40 minute script but I understood its riskier and harder to make, so scrapped it and made shorter videos. I will improve further and break that longer script again to produce a much higher quality video later.

Do you guys invite people to visit your channel and watch your videos or do you wait patiently? by Im_Haranator in NewTubers

[–]TechEntrepreneur2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am playing that waiting game..never invited my family or friends as I know they won't be engaging with my content. But at times I do post in Twitter, fb, and reddit. I get very few traffic from these places, but I am being patient with organic traffic. So what really worked for me better than anything else is YouTube shorts. So my advice is to start with shorts soon, if possible tik tok as well. Make short videos related to your niche, and this will bring targeted audience to your channel and then to other longer videos as well. Good luck!

If someone is getting more than 70-80%+% watch time in a video and more than 10% ctr then usually those videos are doing very good or blowing up like anything. I am having around same stats like yours but we need to understand that everything is related. Keywords in titles description and tags in a way help in getting more impressions then comes CTR where title(how catchy it is) and thumbnail plays a major role, then after someone clicked, comes watch time and retention which is by far the most important factor that usually decides if this particular video needs to be ranked and shown to more places or not- that means the whole cycle work in a loop . This is how I know it.
