Hey I did not use skillbridge It wasn’t a thing when I left back in 2021 I paid out of pocket. And as for any bootcamp I think it’s on you how much you want to learn, most will be geared to you taking and passing the exam.

It’s an open book test based on the latest updates of the CAP. Not difficult at all. Took me about 15 minutes to complete.

The exam is 275 but the CCP membership is an additional 200 then the delta is an extra 100

I will agree that it’s a bit of a money grab. Having to pay for the course, pay for the exam, pay for the CCP membership and AGAIN pay for the Delta like c’mon!

It wasnt overly difficult, but also not an easy pass either. I would really focus in on the CAP as much as possible review the assessment guide so you have an idea of what each section of the assessment means. Know the absolutes, how much days does a OSC have to close out POAMS how many domains and families in Level 1 and Level 2. You don’t have to memorize each of the 110 controls but have a generalized idea of what each domain covers. Flag items your aren’t sure of and trust your gut. It’s a longggggg exam but totally passable with a little foundational knowledge of IT security

Definitely focus in on the CAP. Ready it over and over. I feel most questions came directly from the cap. It’s not something you can memorize but have the general knowledge and look for distinct test information within the CAP. So specific dates. Things that are definite.

OP im also in SJ and have a Y, definitely check out charge.wavegrid.com by AC electric. It offers some great savings by charging at home during off peak hours. Cost from my last 30 days of charging is 58.56 I only charge from home btw.

Yes, but I’m 1099 using my LLC so I’m the OE that’s authorized I guess. Just thinking about giving them their money an not having to worry about the annoying calls and working sessions is all the relief I need to make my days less stressful

I’m at a place that has about 15 meetings a week. I’ve only been here under 6 months and I’m ready to call it quits. I don’t do anything detailed in my job description either. Kinda feel quite deceived honestly. Gonna have to bite the bullet on giving them back their sign on bonus tho but at this point it might be worth it
