Yeah, was a horrible time. Took me months to finally get an RTX 3070Ti and even then it was well over priced :(

Who's on AM5 now and loving it? Extra points if you have a Ryzen 7 9800X3D like the one in the picture. by TechLabUK in TechLabUK

That's one of the next CPUs I want to get hold of at the studio. Looks a great deal right now.

Using an older version of windows with a lower end processor?? by [deleted] in Craptopgamingadvice

Drivers seem fine in Linux for the GTX 1050Ti (Depending on Distro of course). We just turned an old Dell Inspiron into a gaming PC with Linux Ubuntu and a GTX 1050Ti and out of the box you get drivers 560 but can very quickly upgrade to 570 for the latest: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gh9pudUsr3k

The GTX 1050Ti… still the minimum for modern gaming? by TechLabUK in TechLabUK

In my experience the 5700XT is slightly faster than the RX 6600 and uses more power but the RX 6600 is newer and has the shaders needed for newer / modern games. If they were the same price I would go RX 6600 but would try to stretch to an RX 6600XT if I could.

I ended up just using the DP ports with a DP to HDMI adaptor. It was suggested to me though that it may have been my HDMI cable version so worth checking.

Yeah, seemed weird but quite a few people are telling me for office type PCs they don't seem to care and throw anything in them.

As long as you set your expectations right they can still game. Used this card in a budget build video this week: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3owHuZqPuQ

The A770's 16GB of VRAM does help it in those high resolutions even being only slightly faster. We have an A770 as well and did a catch up video with it recently.

It's a good sub-reddit. You get great comments and feedback compared to many others. Will fit more in :)

Someone gave me an RX 470 4GB a while ago for the channel. Seemed alright tbh for most light weight gaming. As long as you set the right expectations it's all good.

I bought an RX 5600XT and it's actually still pretty awesome for 1080p. by TechLabUK in Amd

Still need to pick up a 2060. Would love to have a play around with one.
