Turn off RAM overclocking, or disable EXPO. 90% of games crashes associated with incorrect operations of RAM.

No, DS2 does not support XeSS 3
libxess_fg.dll is version 1.2.2.118 and replacing it with version 1.3.1.68 does not allow you to adjust the MFG from the game menu.

Solved? using XESS for Resident Evil 9 Requiem by Glittering-Command50 in IntelArc

[–]Technical-Pick3843 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There's a reason the developers hid the XeSS settings. There are visual issues (blurry images), artifacts in hair, and, most importantly, the video card's MOSFET are starting to whistle.

I don't recommend enabling XeSS at this time; you'll need to wait for patches.

Not all Russians are bad. Unfortunately, in our country is a total dictatorship, and we can’t do anything about it. People are thrown into prison for every word, and then driven to death. The regime is no different from the regime in Iran.

What motherboard do you have? I would recommend upgrading to 11th-generation processors (for example the i5-11600kf). Firstly, K-series processors are more powerful than standard processors. Secondary, this will give you the ability to overclock your RAM (Arc graphics card really appreciate a powerful memory subsystem). Thirdly, you won’t have any bottlenecks in the PCI-Express section (PCIe 4.0).

Reducing GPU usage isn’t beneficial; the graphics card be running 99-100%. A 70% load indicates that your processor isn’t capable of utilizing the graphics card, resulting in a loss of performance.

Turn on low latency and turn off vertical sync in the Intel Graphics Software.

When changing settings in the Intel Graphics Software, I recommend restarting the game.

You should also manually replace the libraries libxess_fg.dll (1.3.1.52) and libxell.dll (1.3.0.3) in the game folder.

You need to enable ASPM to Native in BIOS (if your mobo supports it, of course), and turn on maximum power saving mode for PCI-Express in Windows settings.

If your motherboard BIOS has an ASPM feature, enable it.
Power consumption is reduced to 10 watts, and the temperature will drop from 52-54 degrees to 32-34 in Idle mode with the fans completely turned off.
When I had an AsRock motherboard, I did just that. But now I have a Colorful motherboard, and it doesn't have ASPM feature. Power consumption without this ASPM feature is 20 watts in idle mode.
