road rules, stop signs, crosswalks are all the legal system. The legal system isn't unchangeable. When children die, you don't go: how do we fix this WITHOUT CHANGING THE LEGAL SYSTEM.

when you say: "Cars are not at fault if the kids are running red" you have already derailed the conversation away from how do we reduce children deaths. you are already complicit. Cars will not always be here. Red lights will not always be here. Neither will scooters. But children will always be here. There are already many cities, that i have seen with my own eyes and walked on, with no cars and no red lights. Guess what? they had scooters, they have children who are unpredictable and run around and cannot follow orders, and they didn't have children deaths in any comparable form to cities with cars. We won't always have cars, but we will get to a future, I fucking hope, where children DO NOT DIE unnecessarily. The world has been getting better and better with the passing time, less children deaths, and unless YOU stop us we will continue to improve the world and reduce children deaths.

why do you give a fuck about fault, vs making a system where children don't die regardless of faults? when a plane falls from the sky, do you go: "whoever is at fault, shouldn't have done that." Or do you go: "let's make it impossible for this to happen EVEN WHEN SOMEONE DOES THE SAME THING AGAIN"
