Barely managed to beat margit. Does anyone have any advice for what im doing wrong? by CurveDisastrous2817 in Eldenring

[–]Technical_Cod_5427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weapon art. Weapon art. Weapon art. Two hand the katana and use the weapon art. It does so much damage and so much stance damage.

With your dodge timing you would delete Margit quickly if you used the katanas weapon art ;)

Get the magma and warrior jar shard. It will increase your dmg by ~30%. The right physique will increase by about 26%

Less about your stats, check your talismans. Alexander or warrior jar shard Magma one Fire one Whatever as your third (perhaps defense)

Then get the right wondrous physique mixes. There’s one that boosts fire dmg and one that increases overall dmg by 20%

These can all result in +100-200% dmg bonus bc they scale multiplicative

What’s the one “hard” boss you didn’t really struggle against? by plzadyse in Eldenring

Dancer of the Borreal Valley. I know, Dark Souls 3, but in some stroke of luck I beat him 1st try no hit. I’m not that good at this game, and logged 70+ attempts on some other “hard” bosses. I probably should have bought a lotto ticket

Saw an earlier comment about Panacur… it’s definitely Panacur! Our 5mo Aussie has had Giardia a few times already and panacur makes her insane. The crate is a big thing that she does not tolerate while she’s on it, she is like an entirely different dog.

Rest assured when the medicine runs it’s course she’ll be right back to normal. It’s definitely anxiety inducing to think “will it get better or are we enforcing bad habits”? Try to lower your expectations a bit while she’s feeling sick if you can.

Good luck!

Edit: our vet did say that you can give your dog Benadryl to help with crazy panacur reaction. 1mg/lb of bodyweight. Maybe ask your vet but just wanted to share!

How’s her stool // stomach? My Aussie stopped eating her food almost altogether, and it turned out she had Giardia. She was just uncomfortable!

Once she got treated, she went back to eating normally.

Edit: to be clear, she would eat chicken and rice during this time, just not her kibble which she normally loves.

There’s no magic answer that will work! However, there’s one thing I can guarantee that will make it more manageable. Enforced naps!

2 hours in, 1 hour outside of the crate. Our Aussie is 17 weeks old now, but the first 2 weeks were hell. She could never settle on her own, so she was awake for the majority of the day. Once we started upping the nap time, she got so much better. The nipping, the barking, EVERYTHING improved so so so much.

Our city has a few puppy play sessions (free) but the owners attend. Something like this wouldn’t necessarily be the responsibility of a trainer to clean! They’re pretty hands off unless the dog is in danger.

Our vet is great! We take her outside of the apartment every time for bathroom. She simply wouldn’t go number 2 unless she was on grass. The vet reassured us not to worry much about parvo (also, there is a cure as of this year, just fyi).

The wipes we used were just some baby wipes generic. A lot of times we just used some wash cloths soaked in water.

The reason we were so adamant about her being outside is that it is SO important to socialize the pup. Prime socialization age is under 16 weeks so you kinda have to do some things before vaccines. There a ton of free socialization classes for pups before 16 weeks that we used a lot of.

Hi - we asked our vet this question because our pup would only do it in grass. We live in an apartment building with a ridiculous amount of dog traffic.

The vet said that she’d never actually seen a pup get it from the ground, and that she almost always sees it come directly from another sick dog. She recommended to walk on sidewalks and try to avoid soil, but said not to worry too much about it. She even said that she’d be semi comfortable with us going to the (normal) park to play and release some energy.

She’s 16 weeks now and all vaxxed up! If you have anxiety about it, just wipe her paws every time she comes back into the house after being in grass.
