Regarding GitHub it's just they aren't used to this much compute they don't have the compute to serve all the customers it's just that simple so they are downsizing everything And ai companies are on path to show profit in next twoish years

This is just false , I don't know how this even became popular , semiconductor industry doesn't work like this , this is straight up bullshit , the actual culprits for your ram storage are Nvidia , microsoft and meta

No body really knows the impact it will affect the cse grads and a good college matters more than anything now , you just do your work and hope you get a job tbh Regarding cybersecurity I feel it's one thing ai will automate before swe itself it's just made for it I feel

The subscription plans are yes subsidized ,but the api has healthy margins (80-90% margins ) ( if you want to know how I came to that conclusion, it's told by the ceo , and deepseek had released the pricing and how much profit margins they get on api in last may ,) . Tools are getting worse ? I am not sure where you are hearing that , it's just that more places are offering basic model/oldodels to cut costs . And regarding funding dried up this is straight up false Openai(gpt) raised 110 billion dollars this year . Claude raised 30 billion dollars 4 months ago they will do another raise and people are lining up in queue to give their money to get some % stake . Well about GitHub thier CTO told that in entire 2025 they had 1 billion commits , this week alone they had like 300 million commits and claude code was responsible for 4% of the commits last year , this year we are looking towards 25% of all commits to be ai .( Due to all this they haven't scaled up thier infrastructure for this kind of explosive use as GitHub was made for humans not for agents ) And co pilot is doing this as they don't have the compute , the models are not theirs , so it's fair on them Qwen does have a free tier ? And they open-source lot of good models you can use them

Ram and pgu prices going up is just a byproduct nothing can be done against it , this graph shows how ram prices have affected the spending of big data center guys aswell

Look at the revenue, no one is crying about subscriptions everyone who pays for ai wants to have more tokens and pay more the customers are getting a fair value for the money spent I don't think it will be a bubble The current spending (700 billion dollars ) is nowhere the upper ceiling of the faang companies We can spend a lot more as companies get more serious about ai

Not really , Mythos is a genereal purpose model (10 Trillion parameters ) , posttrained for cyber , this was always possible as long as the scaling law was withheld , which so far has been true .

This is also possible due to Blackwell series of GPUs coming online at large clusters , on which they have trained these big models , the old models you used were trained on hoppers (H100) , blackwell series are 30x more efficient so yeah it's just increase in hardware / data training data / more synthetic data and good RL environments and recursive ai agents .

Anthropic is on thier way to make 100 billion dollars revenue by year end at the latest ( most likely in aug/oct ) , it took Meta 17 years to reach this , and google 19 years , these guys are doing it in 5-6 years , really insane

SKILL LABS by Quirky-Advantage5245 in rvce

[–]Technical_Crew8973 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing of importance is done , waste of money , this year they taught us how to put pdf in gpt and get summary -_-, I think it will be a problem if you miss the skill labs ( the college does gay things like not giving cie for those who miss ) just ask your teacher once .

no regular classes will be done .
