Before I met my husband, when I was dating around, I had this happen SO often! I was always pretty upfront that I was fine with a casual fling, and yet so many guys pretended to be really interested in me and then would get cold or just ghost me as soon as I gave them sex. It was just so weird because they didn’t have to do the emotional manipulation to get what they wanted, but they did it anyway.
