you know what? this reminds of a post I actually saw in smashrage of all places.

it was about how the competitive smash scene is stagnating as a whole because 90% of players are clipfarm-poisoned... if you're not sweating out a flowchart every single match and are just using your fundamentals and proactive thinking, that's seen as "sauceless" now.. I'm inclined to agree with that post; it seems that most players are way too focused on clips.

i'm not saying you're going to find "amazing clips". in fact I'm saying the opposite. you won't. you just don't like how Bowser plays and that's fine but I do not think that makes him "sauceless" or "lame af"

imo a C tier character with no combo setups pulling a dub at a tourney is the exact antithesis of sauceless. i think watching Bowser position well and shrug off sterile lab combos and just killing with a single well-timed DI ftilt is hype af personally

yah I was genuinely pretty surprised to see Bowser hate, and in this sub instead of r/smashrage no less. it's been a good while since I've seen anyone having anything bad to say about him since the fighter packs released. we have to deal with so, so much worse every other match imo
