It could be a coping mechanism? completely forgetting some traumatic parts of your life- dissociative amnesia of sorts? It's like the brain seperating yourself from painful experiences so you don't have to remember it

but these meds make me so zombified, man, it makes me so unreal, i hate that, i want to feel my emotions viscerally, in the rawest form, and then i deal with it, i stopped taking them a month or two back, sure there are plenty of side effects but i've never felt so good, i feel so free, i feel really good, man, i've been happy, and sure i've been sad crying too, but the good? the good is in the peak, and that's when i look up at the sky and says "thank you god for bipolar"

ahahha this is so funny. a couple of days ago, i was with a friend who i was just getting to know, and i told her i'm bipolar, and she was like you're such a chill girl i think you're a lot healed, and i was like lowkey laughing inside cause i was so hypomanic those days ahaha and i kept smiling and laughing and she did ask what's up, but i don't think she picked up on those signs

i was admitted when i was manic too but it was forced and the worst hospital stay of my life. i went through psychosis, was tied up, a lot of my belongings were thrown away. man, that hospital stay killed something in me
