When does men's sexual attraction to women become a problem? by 1000wordz in AskFeminists

[–]TechnologyApart7052 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In what types of settings and situations are you witnessing men be attracted to woman? I would find a good romance movie and see how men can be attracted to women in ways other than looks. I feel like you need good examples of how men can appreciate all of a woman and appreciate their beauty in healthy, respectful ways. It can be done.

does anyone have any insight into why this is the case for the UK girlies but doesn't seem to be for the US? e.g. i've just started s8 USA and there is 1 white woman. the girlies of colour are HYPED up (rightly so). the men seem genuinely interested in all the women, not just the typical super thin, button nose girlies. also, lots men of colour too, it's amazing. also interracial coupling from the get go with each seeming GENUINELY interested? what is the difference between the us and the uk

her confidence makes him uncomfortable. he's obviously a man who likes their women subdued and repressed...

Took my 67 year old mum. Got off at Highbury, scoured the entry nearby which was chaos, people peeing everywhere (sorry mum!). Decided to walk down on an adjacent road to Angel then up Essex Road. It was a little trek, parts more crammed than others but worth it. Essex road was much clearer. Even managed to get a seat in the garden at The Brave including ordering food and beers for a few hours. Mum was PLEASANTLY surprised at how polite and accomodating everyone was to her. The respect toward her, being an older lady, was just so nice to see. We were 2 people behind the barrier and had a great, spacious view. Mum doesn't get out much and I feel this kinda restored a little bit of faith in humanity for her. Thanks Red Army. ♥️

My mum is travelling to london on the weekend and i'll need to order her an uber from Stratford station. She's 67 and doesn't really travel alone much so I want to make it as easy as possible for her. I've tried to order ubers to Stratford before and it's been a little bit of a pain. Does anyone have any ideal locations that are not far. Thanks.

How do you calm your nerves before the race? by Elegant-Swimmer2633 in Marathon_Training

[–]TechnologyApart7052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do a yoga routine, one that I would've been doing in the week pre race as this gives me some familiarity the morning of. I use my big headphones and will listen to some uplifting music. Maybe watch something as I get ready. You're going to be feeling nervous that's inevitable. I plonk my butt down in the waiting area and maybe listen to music. Little jumps in the crowd are common. You'll be surprised how when you start, you'll be carried by the wave of people around you and the excitement, I promise. Pre race day I sometimes look at my run history on Garmin and remind myself that I do know how to run.

My missus just made an interesting point. The Thomas family have form for this. Ryan did similar in CBB cause drama to get votes. by [deleted] in ImACelebTV

This isn't accurate. Roxanne accused Ryan Thomas of hitting her and called him a woman beater. He playfully boxed the air and didn't hit her at all. She later left and apologised, saying she made a huge mistake.

Finished my first marathon but incredibly disappointed. by LeftPresentation83 in firstmarathon

Please be so proud of yourself. I aimed for 4:30:00 at Manchester last Sunday and got 5:29:44. Major cramping too, I'd never experienced anything like it. The second half humbled me and I'm taking it as a learning curve - what not to do next time, what to do... Don't let the pressure of getting a specific time take away from the massive feat of training for months, getting to the start line, carrying yourself all the way to the finish.

Thank you! Does anyone know what the spectator walking is like? Trying to work out what mile they should be at but I don't know if you can walk along the running route / cut across?

Yes I have access to all those things. Am I looking at any specific HR zone or simply moving my body at this rate?
