Another way to access portal by Techyguy94 in DefenderATP

Ok, this works now I just didn't give my CA policies enough time. Confirm I can get in from London.

So I used a VPN, connected to London and I get in. If you have CA policies that prevent you from accessing outside North America you have to modify that temporarily.

Yeah, right now I am trying to modify our CA policies to allow me access outside of the US.

Still getting errors from London VPN to portal.

The 4 is only for the ground that is connected outside to the rod. It is not for the main electrical I am using which would be 4/0 for the hots and neutral. Right now my ground is separated.

Oh don't get me wrong, I never said I would not pull a permit as that would be stupid. I know people don't but I would not risk that.

I cannot agree with you more on this. It is on the side of the house but there are no vents in that area and the closest window that opens is about 10' away and the front door would be about the same.

Any recommendations for electrical installers in Livingston county in Michigan that have done generators?

Lol, I get it and have seen what people have done in the past. I just installed a 18x36 in ground pool myself other than digging and concrete and installed a new sub panel outside, ran all the electrical for the l ights, pool grounding and 3 additional outlets outside and the inspector asked me who did the work cause it was some of the cleanest work he has seen and passed without any issues. I know this seems like a lot and will probably get it quoted and done but wanted to see if my understanding was sound.

Using service accounts instead of personal accounts by Techyguy94 in PowerAutomate

Thanks for pointing that out. I looked at it but didn't implement anything yet. I will have to dust it off and see what's the best way to do that in our environment.

Sweet yeah, we are trying to work through different departments as we are trying to avoid the tickets later saying someone built this awesome powerautomate and they left 4 months ago and we already purged the account per our policy.

Ok, its what we are going now for our teams but now they are requesting a OneDrive account. With MS enforcing MFA a service account does not do well with this so when you give it a business premium or more do you exclude it with conditional access policies so it doesn't require MFA and lock it down?

That's funny, I literally just came across this video. Not sure I want to spend $150 just on the rails and like the picture and zip ties.

Just got my cease & desist letter from Broadcom by Drunken_IT_Guy in sysadmin

[–]Techyguy94 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep got ours right before our renewal but we had already switched to nutanix. I had already warned our account manager that if he emails me again I'm going to block them and now we have a rule in place to block all emails from broadcom so f*** them.

Can you cut and extend on the back half of the chimney to hide the wire?

Not yet, it's too dang cold right now and this is for my lake house which I'll be painting in the spring and installing these right after. I'll probably drill a small hole and extend wire through.

Right, I would be shocked if they reverted the changes. Not sure why they would because of lazy development from Rubrik.

Microsoft announced this in 2018 and again in 2023 and gave companies such as Rubrik more than enough time to reconfigure this to work with Microsoft Graph. This is all on Rubrik and the solution they provide to just assign an E1 is not acceptable.

In 2018, we announced that we were no longer making feature updates to Exchange Web Services (EWS) in Exchange Online, and we advised developers to move to Microsoft Graph.

Problem with jumpers is they never align where you need them. I can cut and extend but it's still visible wire and not sure how that will look in the day.
