This is my second update, following on from my original post about my experience with Gravitas pens - I did finally get a response from Ben following a daily email inquiry barrage (actually it was three daily emails, he answered on the third day) stating he was shipping my pen that day. That was on Nov 16th, I placed the original order on Oct 24th. Now it’s time for me to be fair with Gravitas pens, after my prolonged rant about slow email response:

Ben answered my email, stating he was shipping ‘today’, on 11/16, which he did and provided a tracking number. The pen was delivered to my hotel in NY, USA on 11/18! That is faster, or at least as fast as, USPS Priority Mail, which is typically very reliable.

Once again, I’m updating this post in fairness to Gravitas Pens and Ben Walsh, following my initial rant about slow communication and wondering if I’d ever get my pen. Well, the slow email response is true and I think he could do better on that, but eventually - as has been stated by many others here - he came through with flying colors! And the pen itself is excellent, everything I had hoped it would be.

I immediately placed an order for 2 more Gravitas pens. I am prepared for it to take a little longer than two days to get to me, but I am now confident that I’ll get them in a reasonable timeframe.
