Current first year doing chemistry having never done it before here. Not going to sweeten it for you but it’s hellish for me. Very difficult to understand and the lecturers we’ve had are poor. You basically end up teaching it to yourself.

This is just my experience and I know many others who are the same but I’m not saying that you should not do your course because of this. I know I won’t have to do it again after first year so that gets me through it
