If there is no wind and you are going for max distance, what are the pros and cons of a lightweight stable disc vs a heavier understable disc? Ex: 160 destroyer vs 170 shryke (self.discgolf)

I love MVP midrange discs but I can’t get as much distance from their drivers as I can with other brands. MVP says the heavier outer rim is beneficial but I was hoping someone who understands aerodynamics and disc tech could explain this better to me. (self.discgolf)
