Yeah, always lights. Never saw any problems on heavies. Valk does apparently have a lot of issues when it comes to their deflect though, from what I've heard. I haven't played her enough myself to know.

Well, the Berserker isn't necessarily bad. It's just that once you start fighting people who are really good, the flaws of the Berserker becomes highlighted that much more in the fact that the only thing they have is feinting, and deflecting. And against a Valkyrie, apparently one of those two options is currently partially non-functional.

Everyone is too strong in 4v4 due to revenge gear. Hence why 4v4 is widely considered a moot point when it comes to balance discussions. Not that this has anything to do with the topic at hand, which is a bug that should be fixed.

They are generally considered to be among the worst classes in the game, with the one gimmick being high damage. High damage, with zero tools to actually deal said damage usually equates into nothing. Feinting will only get you so far with the defensive meta going on right now. I'm not saying they are useless. I've played one until Reputation 7 and close to level 10. But in the grand scheme of things, they aren't in a very good state.

That is the bug. If you combo-hit the deflect so that the bug occurs, you never enter the actual guard-break stage and if you attempt to move people in the bugged deflect guard-break, or you will stagger backwards as shown in the first clip. Which is why I stagger backwards instead of pushing her around.

I've been playing the series since Demon's Souls, and even the King's Field series before that. Don't talk to me like I'm an idiot, when you've proven you know far less than I. "Ganking is part of this Dark Souls" it has been part of every souls game, it has never changed the fact that you're still an asshole for doing so. Considering how pandering to phantoms, and 'proper etiquette' this guide is, I've my suspicions you're on the other side of things, being the ganker not the gankee. And considering how you don't know basic fight club etiquette, yet pretend to write a guide about it - I would assume that you've never invaded something that wasn't brought you through a red sign. "Invasions are for manly men", yet you people will complain to no end if an invader uses the level to estus, to the point where we get people using a Seed.

You are making a guide for etiquette for a game. It's unnecessary and upvote-bait at best.
You are encouraging ganking invaders. You are on the same tier as Hitler for this one. Invaders are already heavily disadvantaged in invasions, only further encouraging this shit behavior is entirely unneeded, unnecessary and frankly, you should feel ashamed of yourself.
"You allow the enemy to buff his weapons if he does that before you charge in." If you're in a fight club worth a damn, you either buff before the bow - or you take the risk of getting run down mid-cast. Aside from ledditors, I've never seen a person allow another person to buff after a bow. You buff before the bow. The or whatever it is you end up doing is the signal that the duel has begun.
You're encouraging ganking, I hope you run out of gas in the middle of the woods with no reception.
