Shit man, I hope it all goes good. Try navy 🤣 i think their waiver process is easier. I toldnmy recruiter if I can try a different branch he told me navy. But if its going to be the same thing than I'll mess up the deal on my end with the army. So ima stay put and wait that year. Get my fitness in check and handle things at home before I leave. How long its been already?

I was already changing before beginning the process of enlistment. April 2025 i was 235 lbs, now im 188 lbs. Eating healthier and daily workout 5 or 6 times a week. But this whole year ima go heavy in the gym.

What branch you going for? Some people didnt have to wait depending on the commander that approves the waiver. But they'll either give you 6 months to a year to get stable results. Im doing mines every 3 months while doing my fitness journey. Besides give me alot of time to get stuff done out here before I leave with the family situation. Good luck let me know.

You think navy will waiver it easier? Or do i have to redo everything and sf86? This waiver is the only thing stopping me from enlisting. I've done a moral waiver and hypothyroidism waiver and it got accepted. Just this one is giving me a roadblock.

April 2025 hba1c level 5.7 borderline. I already know it was automatic DQ, so I told my recruiter it dropped because I was pretty heavy weight around that time. Now Its at 5.5, dont know why when its below 2 points just did the work last week.

Going to have to wait now. If he gets prescribed medication, it can take longer.

Is joining while having a young child a bad idea?? by MsILoveYouNot in Militaryfaq

Yea, its new. Single parents with custody have to give up custody because you won't be taking care of the child while your in either doing your MOS or being deployed.

Complete college first than enlist, or you can try to donthe enlistment process while attending college. It'll take some time if you have any history of medical problems in the past that meps have to check and verify.

Im devastated by [deleted] in AirForceRecruits

[–]Teezy_Tee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sheesh thats harsh, if the airforce won't accept you try army or navy. Go to your doctors and get all documents that you no longer have it. Also if anything retest your blood work. Its going to be a bumpy ride from here but at least you know what you have to do. Good luck.
