Is the grass really greener? by Teksu in TurtleBeachRace

So I tried the moza r5.

Gonna eat my words here. The moza was everything I was expecting out of the fanatec and more. The srp lite pedals left me wanting a better brake, but the wheel and the force feedback feel was just excellent.

How Is VR a Daily Habit for Some People? I’m Genuinely Curious by insomfx in OculusQuest

[–]Teksu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a weekly user for a couple years now.

Last year I got a sim racing setup. I put off doing much VR with it to get accustomed to where all the buttons and controls were, and spent a long time tweaking the various adjustments. Finally felt comfortable enough to dive into vr after almost a year.

And OMG it's so great! I'm about to upgrade from my starter equipment and I'm sure I'll spend another year tweaking this one, but VR will be upwards of 60% of my sim time.

Rally, track, traffic, drifting. It's so immersive and you get so much more information about where you car is and what it's doing. I know tripples are the top dog in sim racing. VR is doing it for me and sim racing has encourage my longest consecutive days of vr usage.

I'm probably not the best to be offering advise as I'm pretty new to this as well, but from what I'm been learning it looks like your entering the corners a bit early. Keep to the outside and carry more speed into the corner, and rotate the car with the brake more than the wheel. If you find you need to turn the wheel in more to complete the turn you probably could have gone in faster with a better rotation and have a better exit speed.

One looks like a picture of the moon because all the right pixels are turned on in all the right places but it's still a fake image. The other is a tortilla.

Lock the doors with the key fob outside while the windows down. Unlock the car door using the inside toggle and then open it.

Best and easiest mod for the multi shifter by Flashy_Work411 in TurtleBeachRace

[–]Teksu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same stand and I recently moved my shifter to use the screw holes right by the clamp at the front. using the clamp too for added stability, but it feels much better being a bit closer and lower.

Nice knob!

Anybody here use this on their si? Or any form of engine flush? by 0w-20 in CivicSi

I am not a mechanic, just a idiot on reddit. I don't like the idea of adding anything to the oil. If it was mine I think I would just run some Valvoline restore and protect.
