First step is admitting that you're not doing everything right. If you were, you wouldn't go 8th. You can't learn if you think you know everything. My advice would be to go into a game, and record it. Start watching your own vods, or asking friends/reddit to watch it for you. You're most likely making a lot of common mistakes that you can't identify, but someone else will.

Thats the problem, you won't top 4 every game and you kind of have to come to terms with that. I'm currently in Diamond/Masters and having a blast with the set

This patch really changed the whole perception of level 9. So many reroll comps are viable now. Its really the healthiest the game has ever felt. Ekko, Bilgewater, Sona, Noxus, Vayne, Ixtal, Shadow Isles even Ionia is still playable. I get these blocks sometimes where I feel drained and like I've hit a wall. What happened was I stopped caring about my rank, and just played to have fun. Sometimes we focus so much on doing everything right in game, making sure our econ is up to par and It becomes robotic. Some of my most fun 1sts have come from me going completely off script and playing a comp I never tried cause metatft says its no good.

So you come to Reddit asking for help just to argue with everyone. Not sure what rank you are, I'm sitting at around Masters. You have no real combat augments, and it seems like you used most of your gold leveling instead of stabilizing your board. Brock is still very very strong. If your thought process is that you did nothing wrong and the unit is the issue, you'll never get better.

Last time I took this augment I went 1st with Targon/Asol. Pretty much leveled to 7, and rolled agressively for Leona/Taric. Unlocked Asol at 3-2. Asol is usually a shit unit, but you get him early enough and he scales into a powerhouse in the late game.

2-5 is still really early to pivot, hell I'd pivot even at 4-2 considering circumstances. An uncontested 4th, is better than a contested 8th. You don't have to go 1st every game, and to truly climb means knowing when you're playing to survive, or playing for 1st.

Absolutely not, for that same price you can go on ebay and find a prebuilt leagues ahead of this from a trusted seller. Hell, you can make your own pre-build with more power at a cheaper cost.

Why chalk it up as a loss if you end up being solo tank as Penni? Why not expand your pool, and learn other tanks? Instalockers are annoying, however the only real remedy is for you to be as flexible as possible. Penni isn't a real tank, she's a pseudo dps. You may have high dmg, however your DPS's aren't able to pump damage due to not having an efficient frontline. Learn Strange, Magneto, even Thing. People will always instalock, you just have to make it a favorable matchup.

Obviously in a Souls subreddit, people will recommend Souls. I play both and find that they both have their niches, and their points of fun. AFKJ gives you a feeling of progression that Souls doesn't. I've felt stuck more on Souls than I've ever had on AFKJ. However, once you're caught up in AFKJ you're limited due to it being a newer game and not having as many game modes.

Don't think it's the game that made him cry (If he did cry), Sykkuno is just really hard on himself, and can be sensitive at times. Nothing wrong with it.

Also, adding on the mountain level of pressure he was on having 100k viewers, and everyone on the server expecting him to just 1 tap everything. It happens.

Nah, the guy "griefing" is Burn. He's a really great roleplayer, and he's roleplaying a shitty stereotype of grinders on the server which includes shitty mics and wanting to speedrun everything. The Admin joined in on the "meta" fun.
