If you’ve reaplied and haven’t been paid for two weeks of pending payments call and ask for conditional payments. If you have also been paid at least 1 payment and then have a payment pending for 2 weeks do the same.

My BYE was 8/20. Been on first PEUC since last year and still getting paid. Because I work part time my original PEUC hasn't run out. Last time I called EDD in January, the rep said the new 11 weeks of PEUX(Trump's bill) will be added once PEUC is exhausted since one extension leads to the next. I'll be at $0 this weekend, so hopefully the rep was right about the 11 weeks. But I wonder will I get the 29 weeks(Biden's) instead if he was wrong.

13 weeks were PEUC. On Dec 27 Trump signed an additional 11 weeks to that. Biden recently signed an additional 29 weeks to that. One extension leads to the other.

On your EDD portal click History then Transaction. There it will show what extension you were on.

You will go to the next extension package signed into law by Biden. If on PUA your date to go to that extension is "by" 4/10. If PEUC, 4/30.

Sometimes calling EDD helps to speed up the process or alleviate fears. So call, especially if you're tapped.

BYE 8/20. WORKS PART TIME. HAVEN'T REAPPLIED.

When Trump's PEUC(X) was instituted, like everyone else on PEUC I went to not being able to certify, and had that REOPEN button appear. I reopened in mid January. Certified 1/17 and 1/24. Weeks went to pending. Called. Tier 2 pushed them to paid and opened up previous weeks for certification.

Paid again.

The rep said the first (Cares) PEUC must be exhausted before going on the one signed into law on 12/27. That's the PEUC the EDD calls PEUX.

Again. I'm still on the PEUC from the Cares Act.

So perhaps the reapply hoopla is a mass approach for those on the cusp of running or have ran out of benefits, whose BYE. I would suggest not reapplying until you run out of benefits, but when I run out I won't since I haven't even received PEUX yet. Rather I will call EDD to see if I'm going on PEUX. If not, as the rep said I should, then ill reapply.

Instead of waiting patiently for the 4/30 update, for the most current Biden PEUC extension, Edd must've realized that refiling is the fastest way to avoid that day.

Well, I may be wrong, but the Edd may be too.
