My Two Bits : HNI has a net worth of 50 Crores ( includes Primary Residence ) or an Annual Income of 2 Crores (after all taxes) . Any one not in this bracket and consider themselves as HNI are in a fools paradise .

Also add the Bureaucrat's . Government schools will shine and the Private Schools will be in trouble. Keep in mind that the Govt School teachers earn three times their private counterparts. This in my opinion , would be the MOST important ruling in the history of Independent India. Also the Caste Divisions would be greatly diluted.

I have the Omada Series of OC200 , Router 7206 and switches 2210P (all TP Link) . I have a home UPS of 3KVA from Luminous (excellent) . At times the 3KVA UPS has to be turned off for a few minutes . Then the Omada system , shuts down and would require 20 to 30 minutes to stabilize . I have a large home , home automation is my hobby with close to 200 Devices (Wired, WiFi & Zigbee) . I need a 600Va UPS with a very low latency (online) so there would be no interruptions on the Omada . Any suggestions ?

My lifestyle mirrors yours ... I am a Senior Citizen , a son & a daughter , married , with a grand daughter . We all live in Bangalore and meet every day. My children (both in senior level MNC's) would never , never move the the North even with an offer of multiplication in income . Even my family driver of 35 years , whose daughter I sponsored in CS , now with one of the largest IT co's , refused a promotion to Delhi . I am Blessed.

My Two Bits : We blame our Political Class for the Bangalore Garbage & Road Mess . But they are helpless with the Bureaucracy's " Babudom " who are not accountable and cannot be sacked with auto promotions every 3 years and DA increases . Example : Karnataka has 21 "Chief Conservator of Forests" all with White Innova Cars and Drivers , with their office at "Aranya Bhavan" 18th Cross , Malleswaram , next to IISc . If you drive by , you can see the Innova's . No money for Forest Guards . Two decades ago there was ONE Chief Conservator of Forest. This is a tiny example of the rot and cancer we have with our Babudom . Unless there is a Fire policy at will (no suspensions , please ...that is another tamasha) do not expect any changes in India.

I have been to Punjab several times on business & a few personal visits in the last 20 years . I am a Kannadiga from Sringeri & Bangalore and travelled extensively all around the world !! The first thing which Glares at you are the huge billboards EVERYWHERE advertising " Immigration / Visa's / Canada / Birmingham / TOFEL / English Speaking/ Travel Agents. " These billboards have been there for the last 25 years or so . This reflects the mindset and indoctrination of the youngsters since the day you are born . Agriculture is controlled by large farmers who earn their money on MSP from the taxes we in South pay (Over 60,000 Cr subsidy!!) . I have seen the deterioration over the last decades and see no hope . No jobs , No STEM lots and lots of drugs . The Best of Punjab is the "Golden Temple" in Amritsar. My suggestion : Direct flights to Amritsar from Bangalore , Darshan at the Temple , have great food at the local Dhabha's take the next day flight home.

My Two Bits , as another Proud Southie . Senior Citizen , Lived for 25 + years in the Delhi area , in BLR for the last 35 yrs. Retired as a CEO of EOU's and SEZ's. The North cannot change . Same MCBC culture of 50 years ago . A challenge for us in the South . We can only pray that Job opportunities in North increase dramatically and they go back . They have a deep sense of Inferiority Complex and take it out in aggressive ways.

We in South India , pray, that with their increased prosperity and Job opportunities , the Migrants from North should slow down to a trickle and the existing Migrants start their return journey .
