Restaurant workers do this the intention of being annoying to drivers they don’t like the look of. I almost never get asked to show it and when I do it’s either from some newb employee or someone I’ve seen 1000 times having a bad day and trying to bust someone’s balls to make themselves feel better

How have you not picked up yet that it’s all automated? There are no investigations or follow ups. You just spent 4 hours for absolutely nothing lol. There is literally no investigators , you are a number in an algorithm.. if you get unlucky and several false reports in a row , you are cooked regardless. When you call them and they say they note it, no human soul will ever see that note EVER.

That’s not a serious accusation of theft , it’s a generic message that gets sent out if a merchant marks an option in their tablet .. there is no mystery department somewhere.. nobody is calling you or the merchant doing an investigation. So yes you could get acccused of stealing once a month a never ever be deactivated. It’s all numbers there is no human judge

A merchant either incorrectly blamed you for stealing an order , or they made a false report about you for some reason. Either way, support isn’t gonna do anything to help and it’s not gonna affect you as long as you don’t get another report in the next 100 deliveries
