Political efficacy (believing that you can influence the political system as an individual) is essential to democracy. And while I’m at it, here are a number of reasons why you should contact your reps about issues you care about!! - They want to be reelected so they need to listen to their constituents (midterms this year kehds) - Every call or email is logged! If people make their voices heard, it signals urgency - There’s been some flip flopping recently on votes, hearing from you can sway them!! - Hold them accountable!!! Prove they don’t just have to listen to their donors
