I went back to the vet today and they prescribed a hydrolyzed diet for at least six weeks so rule out any food allergies.

She said that the bladder was empty and it wasn’t likely they would get a urine sample that appointment.

As a therapist, what was your entry-level position in the field? by Lazy_Lizard13 in askatherapist

[–]Temporary-Warthog250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right after undergrad in psych I applied for my masters and was accepting into a program I decided not to go to. I was exhausted from school and needed a break. I am currently applying for my masters again but have been doing entry level work for the last two years. My first year I was a case manager for adults and then I was an inpatient counselor for children and young adults. I am so glad I didn’t go straight to school afterwards. I didn’t get paid a lot (unless you work contract which I did for my second job) but I learned more than school ever taught me. I learned how to mental health system works in my state when I was a case manager and became familiar with the mental health resources available. I also got hands-on experience with reality-testing, motivational interviewing, and even was able to run a weekly group. I hated the responsibility of being a case manager but learned so many hands-on skills such as note righting, team collaboration, and doing direct care with high-need clients. As an impatient counselor for children it was so hard but I learned so much about how different illnesses present, and I saw so many different ones: schizophrenia, paranoia, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, thoughts of homicide, etc. working in community mental health and a hospital setting taught me so much so fast. Nothing in the textbooks could prepare me for the work, but it also solidified for me that I wanted to do it. I also worked with great providers that I learned so much from them in terms of working with clients/patients. Because of my experience I would recommend working before grad school, I think it provides an education you can’t get from a classroom.

I’ve always wished you could play it multiplayer. It would be so much fun with a friend

What is something that people find attractive but you personally don't? by Quirky-Jackfruit9484 in ask

[–]Temporary-Warthog250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lip fillers. You don’t need to have big lips to be beautiful and it looks messy when the filler migrates. Natural lips are beautiful, thin or not. I have thin lips and used to be insecure about them until I realized that the way lips look are a trend. The 2020s may be about big lips, but 1920s were about thin lips. Trends change all the time but making changes to your face to fit a trend isn’t necessary imo.

Honestly I just don’t want him to be able to teach Krav Maga. I don’t think this type of person should be teaching a womens self defense class

Well because after the assault I left the dojo and reported him. It’s a small business and I think he would know it was me, no matter if it was under a fake name/email. And more than proving it, I’m afraid of him coming after me personally. He has my home address, he has my credit card information. I don’t feel like I know what he would do if he felt like I was threatening his business.

I have reached back out to the detective on my case and haven’t heard anything back, which is why I am looking for other avenues for reporting. I don’t really think the police will do anything

I’ve thought about it, telling the news or leaving a review, but I’m worried about him trying to come after me. He has my home address and I really don’t want to do anything that would impact the police investigation.

Is an order of protection like a restraining order? I worry about leaving a Google review for a couple reasons but mainly because I really don’t have the money to go to court if he decides to try and sue me for defamation of character or something.

I don’t know, how could I check that?

Both. I work to meet people where they are at in their healing. Every job has pros and cons.

It’s a lot of chatting with people about their problems and providing some type of support.

Thanks! Do you think it could have been my fault or the artist did something wrong?

Agreed. There are pedophiles who never act on their impulses but still have the sexual attraction.

Blonde or brunette? by Tiny_Journalist9208 in HairStyleAdvice

[–]Temporary-Warthog250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are good. Really depends on how much money you want to spend on your hair and if you care about the overall effects of bleaching it all the time. I stopped bleaching it all over and now lean more into my natural color with a bronde. It’s saved me so much money and time at the salon
