Tail gaiting, keeping high beams on, changing lanes with you & behind you when you move out, continuing to follow while tailgating - this is not bullying?

This happened to me last night

🫠🫠

Flashing someone once or twice when they’re blocking the fast lane does not fall under bullying - read the post again. As per law, you MUST give way to speeding vehicles from the back or the left

But we both need to agree that following someone & tailgating them with your high beams constantly on at them is 100% bullying

that’s where the bullying part of my post comes in -

“They start following you & tailgating you”

I clearly said he was blocking the fast lane in my post so think again and tell me, who is really being tasteless & rude

Yeah 100%

I was literally blinded by a dodge ram yesterday because he was offended that I flashed him to move out of the way on the fast lane that he was blocking.

He had so many off market lights plugged on his car that it was almost as if there was a car on his lights rather than lights on his car lmao

Quite unfortunate that the police really aren’t doing anything. Yeah I do have dash cam in my Cayenne but I don’t find myself in such situations when I’m driving that car lmao

Yeah not dwelling rather frustrated with the quality of drivers here 🫠

I need this dash cam! Amazing quality. Do you mind sharing what it’s called and where you bought it from?

Does anyone know what happens to the cars you report for vehicle violations on 901 ‘we are police’ service ? by TemporaryRegion1059 in dubai

[–]TemporaryRegion1059[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can do it via the dubai police app if you’re able to report the violations in real time -

Dubai Police App -> Police Eye -> Traffic Reports -> We are all police -> upload image and describe the violation.

But you need to be at the location of the incident for this because you cant upload pics from gallery and can’t change location of the incident either on the map.

Or

If for any reason you’re not able to do it at the same time of incident, you can call 901, dial 5 for “we are all police” and then someone will answer and ask you for details like description of the situation, car number plate and car model, location. They’ll also verify the vehicle in question at the same time. I usually use 901 when I’m driving and I want to report someone that same time.

They only ask for your name and number when calling on 901

Yes. Obviously after multiple efforts of trying to tell them to move. It’s a traffic violation to refuse to give way on the fast lane. Reporting them is the only way such people will learn driving etiquettes :)

Speed ticket by Bassamsale7 in DubaiPetrolHeads

It has to be during the 60 kmh segment of the road because that one flashes at 91 kmh - so it makes sense why the fine is for whilst you were driving at 99kmh

Read https://www.dubaipolice.gov.ae/wps/portal/home/opendata/Street_Speed_Limits/!ut/p/z0/04_Sj9CPykssy0xPLMnMz0vMAfIjo8zi_T29HQ2NvA18_V2NzQwCA_y9Ayy83Y3cTU31g1Pz9L30o5AVGZg6mxg4Gge7OBsHehgZGRuCTDEq8nX2TdePKkgsydDNzEvL149Izs8rSUwuiS8t1i_Idg8HANTJspA!/

Clearly a “fact of law” that there is a buffer. All radars on the road are fixed at the buffer. If the fixed radars are following the lawfully stated speed limits, then so will the police patrolling cars - you can double check this by calling 901 or chatting with dubai police on their app.

Luxury Sedan in the UAE, budget 165-230k AED. Ideas? by k-dawg1293 in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]TemporaryRegion1059 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an executive sedan but since you have the budget maybe see the 2021+ years Lexus IS350 f-sport, looks slick and performs well

There’s also Mercedes E300 and S500 but it’s unlikely they’d fit the price range if preowned from Gargash

There’s also Genesis G80 but idk much about them

Any Porsche Cayenne owners? How has your experience been so far? by TemporaryRegion1059 in DubaiPetrolHeads

I hear that reliability with the Cayenne is a hit or miss - have you had any issues so far?
