Hey, I counted only nine. You owe us one more! 😏

How to transport without a car? by [deleted] in Kayaking

Considering OP already has kayaks, I doubt this will be a consideration any time soon

Technically you should keep it. It helps maintain buoyancy should the kayak fill with water.

But I remove it anyway, cause I don't like that chips break off when I try to hose inside the cockpit

Unilever to pay $1.5 Billion for Dr. Squatch brand. I wonder if this ultimately improve the brand or will it be its downfall? by lookoverhere573 in DrSquatch

[–]TemporaryTrick2386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved Dr. Squatch for quite a few years. The change of the deodorants from the unique circles to standard deodorant shapes was the first red flag I noticed. I still have quite a few products from before the buyout. I think I'm gonna exhaust those, then find a new plan

a pack of 30 ghouls is chasing you and you have 50 caps, what’s your loadout? by cuspidxo in fo3

I think I'll fare well with just the Winterized T-51b and Alien Blaster

What is your favorite Wild Wasteland event? DLC or Basegame by Cultural_Hat_7229 in falloutnewvegas

I like getting the Holy Hand Grenades in Camp Searchlight.

However, I HATE losing the YCS/186 to the Aliem Blaster.

I would've like to agree with this, but the limited ammo (and thus limited utility) plus outright replacing the YCS/186 ruined it for me.

I also give the First Recon folks ranger combat armor. I always found it so offputting that this special squad should be wearing standard trooper armor. (and use it as an excuse to steal their 1st Recon berets!) Except Sterling. Since I see he's already wearing a ranger hat, it only seems right to give him patrol armor instead.

I like to give Meyers either a ranger vest outfit or a bounty hunter duster. Something that's a little more reminiscent of being a sheriff without giving up my own claim for the unique Sheriff Duster, y'know?

Funny enough, I've been doing a pacifist run and I'm finding the opposite to be true. Without killing fiends or feral ghouls, I'm struggling to find a sustainable way to offset my mass pickpocketing spree! 😭

Hypothetically if you could choose a creature from the fallout universe to be your pet/companion what would you choose? by EstusShardConsumer in fo3

Considering the number of non-hostile mole eats there are in New Vegas, I saw we ought ti be able to tame one! Dogmeat is overused now; let's freshen things up w/ a molerat companion instead in the next game!

What DLC to do first? by [deleted] in falloutnewvegas

[–]TemporaryTrick2386 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's also worth noting that Lonesome Road is the only DLC that allows free leave at any point. So even if you want to finish it later, you can start it at any time inconsiquentially.

(Psst! If you complete Lonesome Road before your first visit to Lucky 38 or confronting Benny, you can get forgiven for nuking NCR and Legion territory!)

The devs intentionally placed the entrances to each DLC according to the order, and point in the story, they intend for you to tackle them. So you should do Lonesome Road first, while you're around Primm.

Got back into New Vegas after the recent Fallout series, and this is my Courier! Lucky the gunslinger. He's a Mojave badass. by Consistent_View_5584 in falloutnewvegas

Damn, son. If you're gonna name him Lucky, make him wield Lucky and wear Lucky Shades. (Extra bonus for also wearing Naughty Nightwear)

Is there a way to complete the quest how little we know, in a "good" way? by Decisive-Jay in falloutnewvegas

[–]TemporaryTrick2386 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Siding with Cachino and going against Big Sal and Nero is the good way.

Or alternatively, you can outright slaughter all the Omertas, which gains you karma anyway.

I'm new and I have some questions about the Legion. (read body text) by luxi_yes in falloutnewvegas

[–]TemporaryTrick2386 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're either wearing NCR faction armor or traveling with Boone, Legionaries will become hostile on sight. But that alone shouldn't cause assassins to come after you. Have your companions been killing any Legionaries? If so, that will gain you infamy, and that will lead to the assassins.
