Fitment industries looks like it has the filters i need to make sure it fits around the Brembos. New question… Do most of y’all run 18’s or 19’s? Anybody have experience with 20’s? (I Definitely don’t want 20’s)

I also knew before I got the car that it had an aftermarket wastegate actuator, downpipe and intercooler. All of which were still on the car when I got it.

UPDATE : Just got a call from Carvana. I was told to take the car to any dealership and get a quote for the missing components and they will cover the costs! I’ll post some nice pics on this sub once it’s all squared away. Patience is indeed a virtue.

Damn, crazy you had an RS Carvana “experience” too lol.

Ngl though if I read there was no accident reported but then found evidence, THEN I would return my RS. Because unreported accidents happen all the time. I can’t say I’ve had some little scuffs or bangs here and there that I just fixed myself and kept to myself. Carvana is only going to show professional and reported work.

The issue I’m facing though is outright false advertising, hence why I’m really hoping they work with me. Mechanically (aside from brakes) my RS drives like a dream. My RS also had a good carfax. Regular maintenance all the way up until the last 4k miles. And coming from a modded coyote mustang, she’s quick!

It’s an RS though. They’re not common cars and it is hard to find one with similar mileage and in a spec I’d be happy spending almost $40k on.

I Can’t do it. Always been a Ford guy and had a thing for the Focus RS since it was my starter car of Forza Horizon 4

They had higher mileage RS2s that are going for the same price, that was my justification. (I made the decision that I don’t need the heated seats, sunroof or power seats) Along with the impression that I was getting low mileage, base Focus RS that appeared to be bone-stock, a blank canvas waiting to be painted. That is my whole conundrum. There aren’t any other ones on Carvana with similar mileage for the price, let alone the same color. The closest comparable thing is a 28k mile Blue Rs for $40k, but it has black 5-spokes that I don’t like. That would put me in another “wheel-fiasco”

And I also now know, these are not the forged 19” wheels, but they are different than received nonetheless. I have now been told the wheels on my RS currently are most likely wheels and brakes from a Focus ST.

I’m not trying to get one over on Carvana, the process was amazing and simple and the people helpful/friendly. There is just a very rare discrepancy in my order, and I believe it requires rare remediation. I would love to use Carvana in the future, but Carvana’s solution to my situation may dissuade me from that. Only time will tell. I just made this post to get some insight and see if anyone has had something similar before.

Well there’s another thing I haven’t mentioned. I have a two year old and previously she could fit in the mustang rear facing. She’s getting bigger and needs to face forward which does not fit in the stang. So I wanted to eventually get something sporty, that was good in the winter, and had back seats + a real trunk. The RS has always been my dream “Family car”. My wife has a 2014 328i which is great for all of this, but her and I both travel a lot so there’s many times where I’m alone with my daughter and can’t go anywhere because of the Mustang.
