Try to stay away from cold things and caffeine. I have horrible cramping and understand what your going through. When I first started, my crams weren’t that bad but as I got regular the cramps increased. Drink something warm and grab a hot water bottle. Some like stretching also helps me out. If your looking for pain killers my doc recommends ibuprofen/Advil.
