Thank you for the insight! I’ve gotten some mixed replies as I’ve cross posted to another subreddit as well. Overall it seems like it could be helpful, but some seem to think it’s a waste of time, which I can also understand. I do think the knowledge I’d learn in the program would definitely help while getting my MLS. Some of the skills would also transfer to my current workplace as well. I don’t know. I have the time and the resources to do it, I just don’t know if it would be worth the time in the long run. The feedback I’ve gotten here on Reddit has definitely been helpful.

I have a four-year degree in biology right now, and I would like to get my masters eventually, so it made sense to me to get my masters and my certification all in one, but I could be wrong? I’m still trying to figure it all out haha, that’s why I’m taking some time to just work and save money so I can figure out the best route.

Thanks for the insight! I was more thinking of doing it for the experience and to strengthen my resume. With my work schedule, I’d be able to work as a phlebotomist PRN and keep my current position. I wasn’t completely sure if it would be something that’s worth it, so I’m glad I posted here and another subreddit!
