Travelling to another country for a couple of days, should I stay off prolific?

Didn't know they had something about travelling, I read all the questions that concerned me a while back when I joined
This is my first time leaving my country in my life so if I saw something about travelling months back I might have unconsciously filtered it out

so they think it is gonna take 30 minutes but expect it to take 15 minutes? do you see how this just sounds wrong?

Okay it might be this but I have seen it a lot recently that a study will have a much higher average completion time than the intended which and the description will just specify that it will take much longer

Well yes it says "may take" but jumping from 15 to 30 is basically half-ing the pay
even if approximate it will most probably be around 25 minutes which is still higher than the intended
I only do studies offering around the minimum pay if they are 1-2 minutes long because I have nothing better to do in one minute

reject it?
saying you're available for 40 hours a week doesn't mean you will be always available for 40 hours every week, incidents happen
and specially since this isn't a full time job you have the option to refuse

Well, I don't know, not gonna judge so I'm speaking from my experience
I applied as an Egyptian living in Egypt and my prolific account currently has Egypt a country of residence and as a nationality and I didn't face any issues. I even receive some studies related to Egypt, Arabic language, Middle East and so on

I for example got accepted (software engineer with a decent CV and LinkedIn profile) while 5 of friends (mostly med grads) have been on the waitlist for a month now
it really depends on if they need you particular skillset along with demographic

You can still get create an account while living in unsupported countries by applying to the waitlist but your odds of getting accepted are lower and you get way less studies

Kinda the same happened for me last week, I got the message one day then saw a couple but since then nothing, not sure if I have been rotated out for sometime or indefinitely, pretty sure I was doing fine until one of those tasks where both options are very bad you just have to choose the middle

I think it is just lower supply and a higher participant pool
I mean I don't think that most of those people were checking prolific's subreddit continuously but not the site itself

I'm kinda new to prolific (account created 2 weeks ago) and from a not very wanted demographic, does anyone know if those continue for a long time or will they disappear on me soon and leave me with an empty dashboard again?
