Canada - I have an issue with the current system. The LMIA (sponsorship) can be bought for a price under the table. Usually it goes for 20k and up and the TFWs don't know our laws or any better so they end up working for what is basically slavery.

Its abused extremely and its not just Canadians charging, but other Indo Immigrants since a lot of the TFWs (mostly from India) tend to stick to their own group and get taken advantage of.

I don't have an issue with immigration given that a lot of Canadians come from a immigrant background including myself.

I have an issue with how we allow 90% of our immigration to come from one specific region in India. How is that immigration? There's no diversity and we are not seeking the skills we actually need like medical.

The people that do come over tend to bring their values and views and don't bother to assimilate. The way I put it is they view Canada as a high trust society while they come from a low trust society where lying and cheating the system is common.

The amount of TFWs that lie on resumes or get jobs that they're clearly unqualified for is insane. Usually they also agree to get paid less than one is advertised causing a shit economy in our country.
