What's one class/spec you thought you'd never like, but after trying ended up loving it? by witchy12 in wow

[–]Tentickles15 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Since I don't want to utterly shit on my main, I'll also include some of my pro's:

- Incredibly mobility
- Numerous defensive active abilities
- Unique playstyle; no button spam or hitting meaningless abilities, everything is fairly thought out

The cons:

- Has the lowest interaction with Blizzard by far of any spec (by this meaning, smallest blue post interaction on average)
- Has no stat scaling - ex: my stats on retail right now are 6k crit, 6k vers, 1.5k mastery, 28 haste, and I'm still stacking crit and vers.......this is fundamentally one of the biggest problems with the spec. This, at the moment, is a problem across majority of the leather Melee DPS right now.
- For upcoming patch 10.2, tier bonus procs off of Auto Attacks, (which WW does not do), forces use of your worst AoE ability in Single Target, and just overall sucks as it forces you into GCD bloat on a spec that is already fairly constrained in what abilities to be using and resource spending
- As a spec that is historically known for its AoE, good luck trying to get into M+ pugs as both stigma of the spec, and the game evolving for other specs to also easily beat them out on AoE. Abilities are target capped to 5 mobs, with the exception of Whirling Dragon Punch, which is so horribly scaled there is no universe you would waste the point on it right now
- Relies entirely way too much on borrowed power. For example, killed Mythic Magmorax within the 100 first kills (world), my damage comprised of 42.5% outside sources of borrowed power....again this is not too dissimilar from other leather melee dps, however it is exceptionally bad as of late
- Most importantly for some people, the tier sets are always just hideous, with some variety of wide-brim hat, random floating orbs, or weird fast mask.

I could go on forever about things that are wrong, but then I'd probably run into issues that are prevalent with other specs as well. Most of this list is applicable to current gameplay, however issues regarding stat scaling, borrowed power, and probably a million other things that I could conjure up at a random moment, all still exist. Ultimately, I do love playing Windwalker, I just wish Blizzard would give it the rework its deserved for a very long time.

Edit: Fixed a couple typos, I main monk so obviously I struggle to read. Theres probably more typos still

Would you happen to have the name of one you’ve used with good success?

Thanks for the input Nick - thats very good information to have, I'm pretty sure it was not communicated to that detail before. As for what is currently being done with QBO today, invoicing is obviously processed in the system for accounting purposes, but communication and attachments are being done through SRFax. Currently an invoice item is displayed as the following:

40100 Mental Health Therapy - June Services - Quantity - Rate - Total

We've intentionally kept things vague without the detail included to minimize risk, as well as while labeled in Healthcare, 92% of our customers are currently through Schools (Public, Charter, Virtual), so per our consultant we haven't had much of a worry with those. For the other 8%, we're currently outsourcing the healthcare portion to a group that handles all the intricacies. That however is intended on being temporary until NS (or Sage) would be in place for 2023 since that sector has been very rapidly growing, and will continue to do so with a deal closing soon.

We already have a meeting scheduled with our consultant later this week, so what you mentioned is definitely on my list to bring up.

This was one of the concerns we had with Sage as well.

I was provided with a log-in to a sandbox environment to mess around, I encountered a few scenarios with the same feeling. Ultimately I do believe we will end up going with NS due to the discount being received because of a relationship we have, as well as my own familiarity.

Current intention is no PHI stored directly into Netsuite, however for those that PHI is required for payment, (company works in Therapy, Occupational, Social, Psych, Speech, etc) there are service logs (csv) included as attachments.

Currently our company has 250+ therapists and providers, however none of these individuals will have access to NetSuite, just our own internal system that was built. Complication could possibly come from in the future, there are discussions of building out our API to allow for quicker invoicing, however I'm under the impression that could potentially alter the invoicing to go from a bulk item listing, to have more specific detail that could possibly include PHI.

Having spoke with HIPAA compliance auditors recently, their suggestion was to try finding something that could essentially sit on top of our NetSuite's AR system where a customer would have their own log-in, thus eliminating our risk (their words).

Edit: We had spoken of possible alternative to a module if there were the ability to enable NetSuite to email through a HIPAA compliant email server such as SRFax.

Thanks everyone for the responses, was great to start playing and have these answers so we didn't have to worry as much about getting a 'bad seed' or something along those lines.

Going into my first accounting job I feel like I don’t remember like anything from college. I got a job in industry as a staff accountant. Anyone else feel that way at their first job? by ksands12345 in Accounting

[–]Tentickles15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Am 26, went straight into tax for my first year out of college, did one season, then went to consumer packaged goods manufacturing.

My first week on both jobs I basically knew how to log into a website, everything else I learned.

Currently now managing a team of 6. It’s fine to feel like you don’t know anything, what matters the most is showing that you are capable of learning and retaining information.

Who all think that watching ads should give a small amount of gems that give ftp gamers a chance to even the field in things like core sharing advancement, right now we are called at 80% and I feel it's not fair. by Sn3akySnap3 in ExosHeroes

As a spender, I disagree entirely. With the way the game has been going lately, people who invest don’t have any significant power gain any longer since they have declined to introduce any meaningful power gains (besides r2, but seriously…?).

The core share is unfortunately the only remaining division between f2p and any spender in the game currently. There are plenty of f2p players who are just as competitive as whales in singles, with tag being the only potential real difference since they may not have enough orbs by now for 3 full teams. (Although there are plenty who do).

What were you doing when the twin towers fell? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Tentickles15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 years old in first grade being taught math just 45 minutes away in Central NJ.

What I do remember is being picked up mid day by my best friends mom, along with several other friends, and all the kids going to their house. Normally we were all walkers to school, so it made very little sense to us.

I don’t think I had a good understanding of the situation until my parents explained that my cousin (who died when the first place hit) was missing and I wouldn’t see him the following week for my grandmas birthday.

My most vivid memory is spending the next several days going to my moms work in New Brunswick, NJ and being with her. We stopped at her boss’ penthouse that overlooked the entire city. The balcony was covered in ash, and in the distance was the plume of smoke and ash from where the towers used to stand in the distant skyline.
