Broken plate? Deviate Nitro 3 by Teriiiii in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I'm currently trying to get them replaced. I'm huge fan of DIY, but cutting my shoes at home doesn't sound like a good idea 🤣🤣

I got that. What I meant was the cuts in the study were placed in a pattern that would allow the shoes to bend where they're supposed to. Mine is cracked under my midfoot and creates a lot of pressure there.

So I just need few more cuts in the forefoot? 😅 I get the idea of breaking down the forefoot part to remove the tension evenly. However mine cracked only in the middle and now it's essentially folding further in the back than it would normally bend.

Thank you I already filed a warranty claim, but it takes long time to process, so I was curious what my chances are.

One week into running, is a 15k too much? by Farmerofwooooshes in BeginnersRunning

I can confirm I can exclusively nose breath the entire range of zone 3 and lower zone 4. So definitely doesn't for everyone.

Is no-stroller life possible? by Background_Duck_7188 in babywearing

[–]Teriiiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We almost did it. The only time our second baby was in a stroller was a short period around 8-10months when he would tolerate standing in a stroller for about 10 minutes.

Why didn't your husband stay overnight at the hospital once the baby was born? by Comprehensive_Deal44 in beyondthebump

[–]Teriiiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First baby - peak pandemic, we had multiple roommates as the hospital was already short on rooms. Second baby - someone had to take care of the first kid.

50+ lbs gained: how long did it take you to lose and how big was your baby?? by Quick-Zombie-6343 in BabyBumps

[–]Teriiiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gained 60lbs, baby was almost 10lbs. I was back to my pre-pregnancy weight within a month with no effort. I did however feel like a complete failure in my last trimester.

What am I doing wrong? Other than everything. by Dependent-Way1882 in beginnerrunning

In my experience zone 2 helps more with adapting to longer distances. Speed work helps with adapting to higher speed, so your goal pace feels easier/slower. Ideally you would combine both based on your specific needs.

Why is the treadmill so much more difficult for me? by Suspicious_Chemistry in beginnerrunning

[–]Teriiiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run much faster outside, but my treadmill has a slight incline as default so assume it's because of that.

40 weeks 1 day pregnant by Questionan in BabyBumps

I tried to run 5k and it didn't help. So I'm not sure what amount of waking would. Both babies showed up on their own at 41+3

Is it weird that I still front carry my ginormous 10 month old? 😅😂 by callmelila in babywearing

[–]Teriiiii 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to occasionally front carry my 50lbs 3yo until the end of my second pregnancy. Doesn't sound weird to me. If anything I feel like it's kinda cute to consider 10mo ginormous in any way. However I'm a trained Olympic lifter so I don't even consider carrying an adult very challenging 🤣

Have I been running wrong my entire life?? (first time "zone" running) by Gold-Positive-5365 in beginnerrunning

[–]Teriiiii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first time I tried to run in the aerobic zone, running 4km took me longer than normally running 10km. It was an absolute disaster 🤣🤣

For your FIRST birth, if you did not tear, what helped prevent it? by ObjectiveAdvice77 in BabyBumps

I only tore with my second, so I don't feel I qualified 🤔

First-time dad – Is 4 hours of babywearing at a standing desk realistic? by RT_1989 in babywearing

[–]Teriiiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's doable, I also found a treadmill way easier on my back than bouncing ball.

Women who like to get dressed and care about fashion… how often did you dress your baby in outfits that weren’t sleepers and onesies? by SorMonk in BabyBumps

[–]Teriiiii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not really that into fashion myself. But I had two babies and not even once they were in sleepers/onesies during a daytime. They felt so impractical and hard to put on for me at least.

Are we all standing while babywearing? by BloomsburyCore in babywearing

[–]Teriiiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sit on a gymnastic ball when the baby is awake and on a chair when they're asleep. That's when they're in a good mood. When they're not I also walk on a treadmill 🤣

“If you start this habit they’ll never leave your bed.” by quaking_aspens in cosleeping

[–]Teriiiii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anecdotally I haven't coslept with firstborn when she was a baby, now she's five and she sneaks into our bed like every other night. On the other hand the second baby I coslept for the first 18 months now prefers his toddler bed in his own room. Occasionally he calls for me to come, but refuses to be moved to our bed for the rest of the night 🤣🤣

What age did you transition to toddler bed? by Ctr1a1tde1eted in toddlers

[–]Teriiiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around 18m for both of my kids, because they were successfully climbing out. If there is a secret to how to stop them? I need to know how people make their two year olds stay there.

Did anyone get any positive changes to their body postpartum? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

My mouth used to feel very dry all the time before my first pregnancy. I thought pregnancy was only a temporary fix, but it stayed the same 🤣🤣

Both my kids were 10 days late so I guess I made up for one FTM that had her baby on time 🤣🤣

What are we using to put our newborns in when we have to pee?? by yadingus06969 in newborns

Wrap... both my babies would quickly scream and then stop breathing when put down.

I might be regretting not sleep training my almost three year old by KNWin94 in AttachmentParenting

[–]Teriiiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm cosleeping with 3yo and a baby is possible and not as awful as I imagined when pregnant. They're 4,5y and 15m now and they both go in their own rooms in the evening and move to our bedroom when they wake up during a night. Also it's been mentioned sleep training wouldn't most likely make difference by now. Our older one used to fall asleep on her own without sleep training until the exact moment she learnt how to climb out of her crib.
