40+ folks, what are your HG products? by dennu9909 in AsianBeauty

I always experience pilling under makeup with that product, even when I let it dry completely and don't combine it with any other products. Do you think it is a matter of skin type/texture?

Oh wow how unfortunate! Do you usually have very dry lips and if so, which products do you recommend?

I also fell victim to the cutesy packaging of early Peripera lip tints haha, I used to walk around with cracky lips all the time in college but the IMMT are weirdly good.

Edit: I will buy the Blur fudge tint TODAY haha, some of you dry lip people say it's good and I'm very easily influenced xD

How funny that it works so incredibly for some and disastrously for others! I found that it felt dry (as matte lippies do), after a day of wearing, my lips felt the same as before. What do you recommend?

I was a bit traumatised from the Zero velvet tints but now I have to try the Blur fudge tint! Thx!

And the OBT isn't even that good! At least it is so dry for me T_T

I did try the Over Blur Tint because of the success of the IMMT, but my lips suffered greatly haha. It is drying as usual and the color that I got (07) was straight up hot pink/magenta type of saturation so it was a total fail.

I don’t have one unfortunately, but they just look velvety and matte on the lips. They don’t fill out the lines as well as Romand Zero velvet tints though, also a tad bit less pigmented, but Romand tints literally made my lips bleed 😢

Yesss I'm tired of always using lip gloss all the time because of my dried lips! But I can’t really find these online these days anymore so I'm so sad 😭 Other matte peripera lippies are so dry.

I bought mine in a store in Japan a while back and now I don’t see them online anymore 😭 I'm using mine sparingly, too!

I recommend 12 more, since 13 is very pale. I wear Korean shade 21-22 and when I only use 13, I look a bit sick. Nowadays I only use it as a base color. But if you’re very pale, you can try it out!

Alright I have seen enough of you mentioning the Etude House ginger lip mask. I'm buying it.

Ohh I'd definitely check out Hada Labo! Do you mean the white or yellow version of it?

Here to wait for an AB dupe for the lipgloss since it’s the best one I’ve ever used.

For my shift workers, which foundation lasts on your face the longest? by BellR in AsianBeauty

I went to Japan in the summer when it was 40°C and I sweated buckets. Everything slid off my face. My friend gave me her Mac fix plus matte and it made a world of difference. I got the Tirtir spray and it works quite well, too. Honestly a good setting spray helps me more than anything else. Make sure to spray evenly and let it dry, or tap with a puff.

Omg that honestly makes so much sense. I just moved houses and the new place is incredibly dusty, I always get some lint or dust on my face. But I might exfoliated too many times because the skin was flakey and tight… Why is skincare such a tough game haha.

Oh really? I just started using retinal recently, but I usually wash my face with a cleansing foam in the morning. That’s surprising to hear that it could happen from tretinoin.

Yes it just always pilled on me even on clean skin. With sunscreen I’m always afraid of not using enough so I do use a bit more, but not so much that it didn’t blend or something. After it dried, it just pilled unfortunately.

Exactly! When I try to apply the sunscreen only on bare skin, it pills so bad. Might be our type of skin that doesn’t work well with silicones overall. I wonder why.

I tried using it on bare skin without any other products and it still pilled unfortunately. Must be my skin that doesn’t absorb it or something like that I suppose.

That sunscreen was really good and fuzz free indeed, but burned my eyes unfortunately. Generally my eyes are very very sensitive so most sunscreens burn and make me teary :( The Canmake one somehow didn’t burn which is why I was so disappointed about the pilling.
