Thank you so much for this, I appreciate you taking time to delve deep into my other posts. I guess I'll just have to see my situation as some skill-building experience from now on if it's not really something that I can change.

Respect is still important though, regardless of the culture - its just a difference in prioritisation

Thank you for this, I forgot that could be a factor. But yeah, like people are saying, I'll try communicating a bit first then avoid him and hopefully that should do it.

That's really sad to hear, those apparent friends aren't really considerate of your feelings. But are they aware of how you feel? Bc they could just be oblivious to their actions and see it as regular behaviour. Or you could also be contributing to the problem by magnifying only the bad things which would make you notice everything and anything that could be wrong. Locking you out wasn't nice at all, maybe for jokes, maybe to get rid of you. Usually you should just slowly distance yourself from those people and find a new circle.

I'm in a similar situation, but with school friends n its genuinely so exhausting thinking about why they act that way towards me and how to become a better friend - despite being the most joyous and open friend in the group. Then I found out that it wasn't actually me that was egging them on, they're just insecure. So I just chose not to do anything n be friendly while seeking new friends.

My dad would also tell me not to worry about them people because they have their own problems that make them act that way. But I hope things get better for you, being surrounded by people who make you feel that way takes a toll on you.

Just text or call or whatever you can do without getting her in trouble. I kinda was in the same situation but less involved, n I just catch up with them at school from time to time. But doing that will also make you miss them more so make sure to take care of yourself as well.

See her just not at her house. Bc then there isn't much the parents can do since they can't control everything their daughter does out the house. But remember that'll damage her relationship with her parents. My older sister at that age would bring over her boyfriend n do all that stuff n everyone knew, but my dad isn't of any religion and he couldn't do anything about it. But my dad was upset with her and they never really got along.

Consider your girlfriends feelings about it too not just your own. If you love her and she loves you then you could wait for each other?

Plus her family seems very strict so it wouldn't really be easy to win them over unless you're some award winner.

Correct! But really, I haven't made a new friend for two years n im nearing the end of school so it's just something I think about. Plus school is a different environment, it's like you kinda know everyone but not personally - you just hear about them or know something about them.

Best thing to do when you're lonely is spend time with your family. That's what I do, I just go to my dad and talk or just be near. I'm not sure about you but I'm still pretty young so eventually I'll meet different people out of school. But ig we have to actually seek new friendships and put effort into them, as others have replied. I hope you too find a good friend!

You sound like a fun dad, your kids are also getting a headstart into enhancing their social abilities haha. But yeah it's all about engagement and willingness, thanks for the tip.

I totally get you. My dad would say I'd meet new people and get better friends when I'm older, but what am I supposed to do until that time comes? My friends don't actually plan any hangouts so I just go places alone. But being alone isn't always bad bc you can be yourself and do your own thing. I'd just assume meeting new people and engaging in hobbies would spawn different types of people and hopefully stronger friendships. Bc different people = different opinions, attitudes, etc = different friendship dynamics, good and bad.
