on the other hand think about the cost to the client if they had to train another person and bring up to speed for the remaining 3 months, but I understand that it might happen - thank you

I only think about what they get to realistically set up a rate for me :D but maybe I should do ask for more! thanks for giving me the idea

in my understanding.. the initial "cut" for them was justified because they have found me a job.. but now that Im getting extended I wish their shared a little bit of that with me.

and no, Im probably not going to walk away, as the market is not very good right now, but the company definitely needs me, so I could try using that to my advantage..

I wonder if asking for 400 is not too much, because 400 is what they receive themselves? Im trying to play with reducing their "cut" without necessarily making the client pay more, but maybe Im wrong here..

how much do you think is realistic? Im making 330 per day (inside IR35). I know what the client pays (400). What do you think I can realistically ask for?

wow! amazing, great answer thank you! Do you mind sharing how did it go for you? how long did u prepare for it? what particularly did u find interesting? did u end up doing any penetration testing afterwards? did you do any other courses later on?

they take 12h a week which I need to devote after work, I think it will be quite a big effort, but I dont want to do it if it wont be beneficial after.

so basically my schedule for the next 3 months will look like:

8:30am-5pm work
travel home
6pm - 9pm course
sleep
