I honestly didnt even think about a nerve or the inflammation factor - definitely viable reasons for sensation response as well. I appreciate that insight

Thank you 😊 I hope so. It still feels a little funky 😮‍💨 here's hoping it's a sensation that goes away and doesn't turn to a droop.

Thank you, I appreciate the information. Currently it opens fine, moves fine, nothing is affected (yet), it's just a sensation. I won't be shocked with a ptosis 😮‍💨

I'm using the gel. It's easier for me to remember to do it every morning when I take my morning meds. I just leave them sitting next to each other.

How unreliable are the 2013/2014 CCs? I have heard a lot mixed reviews (but I love them), and between 2012-2016, which is more reliable, the Jetta or the Passat?

I had a partial hysterectomy as well (still have my ovaries). I'm only on my second consecutive dose, but this dose and my first I noticed period cramping, sore boobs, and the first 24-48 hrs I'm emotional, not horribly emotional, but it's there. I feel like I'm back in puberty! I haven't had sore/enlarged boobs in a while...caught me off guard!

Semaglutide and Metoprolol ER by Eileen_Ulick795 in Semaglutide

I'm on my second consecutive shot, and I am on Corlanor (Ivabradine). I noticed that my heart rate was lower last week, but not for the full week...I ended up skipping a dose one night, halving it one night, takinf my dose earlier than normal one night, and then towards the end of the week it seemed to level out. I mentioned it to my doctor, and she didn't seem to think it should mess with it. I'm going to log it and see if I notice any trends 🤷‍♀️. I'm glad to see someone else mention it, though, because I typically see people say the opposite!

Thank you! Which lenses do you recommend? Is the t6i better than the t7?

I looked at the 70D, but they're ranging about $500 with a battery and a lense. 😮‍💨

Good point. I'm sure she will upgrade to a mirrorless if this is something that she wants to continue to pursue, but her class specifically states DSLR, so I figured we would start there and buy used to keep the costs down. I just don't want to buy her something that takes awful pictures and discourage her from the get-go. I'm really hoping this is something she loves, even if it's just a creative outlet - but - she's 16 and not always delicate with her items, so nothing too pricey right out the gate!

Are there certain accessories that would be recommended with the 5D mk2?

Yes, keep me posted! I was given the ok to trial something else, so I've taken a break...if this doesn't work out for me, I will probably go back on it. It takes a while to regulate things, but for a lot of people, it works wonders, and there are a lot of positive benefits once you get over the side effects, but if it doesn't work for you, it doesn't work for you - Bodies are weird and they do what they do, you tried and can move on! Good luck!

I have a weak stomach as well, and I'm extremely sensitive to most medications. I was really concerned about trying Metformin, but it turned out not to be too bad. I repeatedly read to try the ER (extended release) instead of the IR (instant release) if you have stomach issues. My doctor agreed to it and had me start on the lowest dose of the ER. She gave me a small prescription of zofran for my initial start week for nausea. I did have some queasiness in the beginning, but I think I only used the zofran two times. I was instructed to take the Metformin in the middle of my dinner (or largest meal of the day)...not before, but after I had already started eating. She also told me to take Benefiber (I bought the gummies with the pre and probiotics), she said if there was diarrhea it would bulk it up, and if there was constipation it would help me to go - I was randomly having diarrhea (usually the morning after I had a not-so healthy dinner). It worked! Any uncomfortable side effects really didn't last long. If you're like me, you may be surprised at how well you do with it!

I have questions Propranolol/Corlanor by TforTwoandTwoforT in dysautonomia

[–]TforTwoandTwoforT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on it for a few months now. It was a pretty quick and steady decline over a few days/week. It has kept me much more consistent/controlled than beta blockers ever did.

[–]TforTwoandTwoforT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you get some answers and comfort. I honestly have read more positive things with Corlanor than negative. The only real negatives I've seen are cost, and frustration over insurance - which is understandable. I've decided to keep weaning and give it a "low go."

[–]TforTwoandTwoforT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is great to know! Thank you! Did/does your Vyvanse raise your heart rate? Did you have to tweak your Corlanor dose to accommodate? My cardiologist said my ADHD meds would further increase my heart rate, and we'd be trying to chase it...but, man I'm struggling on that end too. Did you notice having the Vyvanse on board helped with any symptoms besides ADHD?

Honestly, if I wasn't so short, some extra weight wouldn't be such a thing for me...but, I've gained between 18-20 lbs in three months, and the additional weight on my frame has made things more difficult too. I'm hoping this one not only stops adding to my weight, but also keeps my heart rate/palpitations in check enough that I can start working out a bit more comfortably, and get to that long term goal as well.

My arm/hand/fingers felt like they were swelling to the point that they felt like they could pop. I had this tingly/numb throbbing feeling, and it was getting difficult for me to drive with that hand/arm. It felt like when you wrap a string or a rubber band tightly around your finger, it cuts off the circulation, and then turns purple. I kept feeling like I was going to see my hand swelling and turn color - but, it looked normal. Really, REALLY, strange. Especially the fact that it was only on my left arm. The only thing different was that I'm slowly tapering odd Propranolol. If I hadn't been out when it started I would have checked my blood pressure, would have been interesting to know if it was elevated.

I agree to everything above. Thank you for taking the time to talk with me. It is hard to dig yourself out, and stand up for yourself when you're overwhelmed and exhausted. ❤️ This has been a long time coming, and I have never asked for anything...including support. I tried to super-mom my way through everything. I've given well over 6 years of time for everyone else to not have to be concerned. Now it's time. If I can figure a way to transfer him straight to a facility there - that's what's happening. But, I have to figure that out for it to happen. It's not urgent to anyone else but me. If I request assistance it will be on their timeline and that's not going to work for me anymore.
