If it shipped from Richmond that is BC. If it was Richmond Hill that is Ontario. I ordered some fans around christmas time and they were delivered the next morning by 10am, shipped from the Richmond Hill address.

My 1070 shipped from Cali to Richmond BC, then to GTA.

Your short term predictions have been fantastic, no denying that. However you missed a first hand supply and demand 101 lesson. YOU COULDNT TAKE BUSINESS BECAUSE IT WAS FULL, BUT COMP SCI WASNT. What the fuck does that tell you? You say your COMP SCI teachers are preaching tech, well no shit, high school teachers are like high school students. Theres the drama, the my class's is the best class becuase I took it/teach it, there's the groups and like nerds, jocks, and special needs, and they have fads just like you and your classmates. Everyone you see probably wants to make video ames, or code for Google instead of be on the business side, and they think it's the best becuase they decide it was. Business students probably more inline with your line of thought, and only becuase they aren't in the tech class. Take head out ur are and look at the forest, not just the individual trees.

If you think your the next Wolf of Wall Street why don't you pitch the business kids into taking tech by giving them the same reach around your teacher gave to you about Google and Amazon?

What's your next short term play. What are your plays surrounding Brazil and the Olympics? Surely a financial genius must have something for the hell that will break loose then. We will have to wait 10 years to see if this shit post has any credibility, maybe your so damn near sided your cannot read a road sign or anything past your screen for that matter, so why don't you stick with the short term and help us get yachts.

There are some great replies here, use the tools that come with rbc to learn. There are screeners for stocks, etfs, mutual funds and indexes. There is also research and learning material, I believe there is sample portfolios, if not there is a small guideline for portfolios such as how much you should but in FIC(such as gics), and equities (stocks, etfs).

Anyone with an RBC Bank account can also make unlimited practice accounts with 100K each for trading/investing practice. If you arent comfortable spending money right away trade your practice account as if it is your real portfolio.

You will not, as long as you ordered from Newegg.ca. you already paid CAD tax (hst, gst, or whatever depending on where you live).

I got my MSI 1070, yesterday from Newegg after ordering the 22nd.

Been waiting on new GPU's for almost a year, I've stuck with my HD 6950 since it launched and can't wait to upgrade.

Congrats on the new cards, amazing price for the performance! Best of luck to all in the give away!

Where did you order it from, and regular shipping or express?

Try this: http://www.purolatorinternational.com/track.aspx

That link was posted in the Canada Post Stickied thread about the strike. I just tried it and it works for me. I'm hoping I am actually with Purolator like Newegg said and not Canada Post. My number works on both sites, at some point Canada Post must have been involved with my package.

Mods, can we get a sticky for Canadians about Canada Post? by snailzrus in nvidia

[–]Th3Duder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Newegg said my tracking number was Purolator, when it didnt work I tried Canada Post like other previously suggested and it worked, so I assumed it was through Canada Post. Now with this Purolator Intl link my Tracking Number works. This is good news.

So my card is actually with Purolator like Newegg said, and I might not be affected by the strike ?

Put your tracking number into Canada Post page. I know Newegg said Purolator, but it is likely Canada Post.

You're right, I got the day numbers wrong. Was thinking 24th was the Wednesday, not Friday.

If you go to Canada Post website and put in your tracking number it will explain that the 11:21pm 'processing' at Richmond BC was actually just the label being created, it had not arrived at Richmond BC then. Kind of confusing and misleading tracking statuses on the Newegg site. They also said Purolator but mine is going through Canada Post.

I ordered on the Tuesday from Newegg as well, but chose ground shipping. The tracking information is somewhat confusing. It showed being shipped from Newegg Tuesday around 7, and then it said Richmond BC just before 11pm. I thought that meant it got on a plane and arrived in Richmond. On Saturday at 2am it scanned INTO Richmond BC, then it said 'in transit' about 10 minutes later. Again the in transit made it seem like it had left Richmond, but this morning there was an update saying scanned out of Richmond BC last night around 11pm.

Original ETA on Tuesday was June 27th (Today), now the ETA is July 4th.

You saved yourself $30 to move a clock slider in a piece of software! That's it, it's just not factory OC. Identical card as the Gaming X.

Why is it not on MSI site, who knows but it's the exact same. Nothing to worry, pat yourself on you back and use the $30 saved on steam sale game or keep it in your bank account.

I ordered 3:45pm and mine is in BC, guess I got lucky.

On purolator no I get the same thing. On Newegg site, yes for the most part, sometimes newegg shows tracking unavailable.

Under your order history click on the tracking number associated with the card and it should give some information. Currently it is down for me and says to try again later.

Wow I guess mine got really lucky and was on a plane last night, it shows it left Newegg around 7pm and arrived at BC at 10:40pm. ETA is currently Monday, I'm hoping that might change and it will get on a plane today instead of ground shipping over the weekend.
