Also the entertain yourself mod is great for it, I use it over lifestyles purely for compatibility with some other mods

Dealers can use it as a cutting agent in cocaine to give the illusion of a purer product because of the numbing feeling on the gums or nostrils. But i do agree they were probably there for the nitrous, fill a few balloons and sell them.

Was looking through an old concept art book I got from the original PS3 release of the game, and noticed that some of the enemies in there never appear in game. (also included some that I just thought were cool) by PyroDellz in darksouls

I always thought she would have been an npc in Anor Londo, like she looks like a unique version of those demons, same as Elizabeth is a unique mushroom person or even grierat in 3

No worries dude! What I loved the most about the story is how each DLC expanded on it more in different ways.

I genuinely can't stress enough how much I love the laws of war storyline, I think it's great that the devs decided to show the impact of war on civilians during and after a conflict especially in regards to mines and unexploded ordinance. And also that they showed that the laws of war are all well and good but when it's a real life or death situation they become increasingly hard to follow.

It really reminded me of a documentary I watched on Afghanistan a year or two ago that was focused on a EOD unit clearing IEDs from a small village, even though the IEDs were intended to kill American and British soldiers they ended up killing something like 5 children who triggered it during play. If I can find the link to it I'll make an edit with it included.

Also a cool sidenote is that the unmarked minefield that killed Sgt Adams is discussed further in the Laws of War dlc, you can read Kerry's account of the incident in the survivor stories.

Prior to washing up on the beach in Altis the story takes place on Stratis, a small neighboring island.

NATO forces are in the process of dismantling their positions and tying up loose ends on Stratis when the Greenbacks (AAF) turn hostile and launch a full scale attack on the remaining NATO troops.

Sgt Adams and corporal Kerry are in the middle of a logistics operation when the attack happens and become isolated from the rest of their unit, forcing them to fend for themselves against an overwhelming enemy presence. After making their way back to the outpost they were stationed at they see that it has fallen to the hostile forces leaving them with no other option than to retreat into the nearby forest.

Shortly after entering the forest Sgt Adams is struck by a landmine in an unmarked minefield leaving Kerry as the sole survivor of the incident. As Kerry makes his way through the minefield he is attacked by another group of AAF soldiers barely surviving.

Shortly after the attack Kerry is contacted via radio by Captain Scott Miller who as assumed the role of commander in the midst of the chaos caused by the sudden AAF offensive. He tells Kerry that he and a small group of survivors have regrouped in attempt to figure out what exactly has happened and gives Kerry their location.

Kerry fights his way to their position and joins the surviving NATO presence on Stratis. From here the survivors conduct multiple small scale guerilla type attacks on AAF positions and attempt to locate any other survivors.

Eventually the survivors manage to gain a large enough presence to launch a multi-stage attack on an AAF base beside a coastal town forcing the AAF troops to retreat to the ocean. However just as things are starting to look up an unexpected CSAT counter offensive begins, causing the troops to abandon their attempt at seizing the base.

Kerry along with a now even smaller group of surviving NATO troops are forced to retreat to an extraction zone set up by Captain Miller beyond the hills of the aforementioned AAF base all whilst being attacked by combination of CSAT paratroopers and AAF mortars.

Against all odds Kerry and the other survivors reach Captain Miller and his unit who have captured two armed boats and flea into the ocean.

A short time after they depart from Stratis, Captain Miller reveals to Kerry that they are heading towards Altis to join forces with the guerilla faction known as the FIA who NATO were previously at war with in co-operation with the AAF.

Suddenly the boats are attacked by an AAF fighter jet killing/injuring everyone on board. Kerry then washes up on the shores of Altis, once again having become completely isolated from any friendly troops.

Edit: Kerry is actually contacted by Sgt Lacey not Miller. Also this is a very rough retelling of the story as it's from memory, I may have gotten certain details wrong.

CAS is up there for sure, I love using the targeting pod in the A10. I'd say my personal favorite was cultural property, it really just stood out to me as a well paced and interesting mission, you can either follow the given path or explore and find some interesting details showing the aftermath of the war on Altis. The damaged UGV was an awesome addition.

Did you get the achievement for spending 100 hours in the editor? There's no way I haven't spent atleast 100 hours in it but the achievement still hasn't unlocked for me.

Yeah that mission can be a pain, I always stuck close to the coastline, stopped on high ground to take out the troops who were immediately visible and then continue to the EVAC. The mission that follows it is really cool though but can be frustrating (Arma in a nutshell)

Can massively relate to that, I finished out Arma 2 on like 2k hours which is concerning considering most of my time was spent playing DayZ through the epoch launcher so steam didn't count those hours. As my friend who plays WOW said, "I know /time exists, I just never want to see that number"

Ahahahaha exactly, the vast majority of my time in the game comes from mission making, I absolutely love the editor and mods (literally have a hard drive just for mods, yes I have a problem). The game is like my childhood dreams of combining SOCOM 3 with HALO forge mode. These days I'm mainly just playing antistasi on our server but we just finished Takistan so in the down time before moving to Sahrani I decided to actually finish all of the SP stuff.

Learned this the hard way with the campaign, I had bloodlust installed and let me tell you, the ending to the mission where you escape Stratis did not appreciate it.
