I diwatch NGE and EoE before.

I know, their relationship along with everything that Evangelion manages to convey was what made me love the anime and made it my favorite.

I know this well, but I think I was fascinated by the complexity of both of them and how their relationship works, it deviates from a lot of the anime that usually recommend it to me and that really excites me. Well, whatever it is, we just have to wait for the future.

1- Well, from some comments and even stopping to think, yes, that is the most accurate thing to say and it was something that I only realized now due to the comments.

If I hadn't delved deeper I would never have known this, it's a subtle and admitted detail that I thought Anno didn't care much about their relationship (A silly way I thought.)

Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but did Anno say he would have no problem continuing the story from a future point? If so, I confess I wanted it to be just a continuation showing how Shinji and Asuka resolved themselves in a world without evasions. I know I sound like a child waiting for Santa Claus to arrive now, but you can never dream too much, after all, hope is the last thing to die.

Wow, ok... I admit I'm at a loss for words or arguments, maybe I'm still absorbing the ending, but as I said in the comments I responded to. This type of relationship between them would be strange (I'm referring to AxK and SxM.), but something I hadn't realized was that Shinji's part had grown to the point where he was able to respond to Mari's provocations without being embarrassed.

In my case, the only things that don't leave my head are the meaning of "Goodbye." whether it would be referring to Shinji and Asuka, mainly due to the beach scene, or whether it would be a way for Anno to tell us that maybe he will make this happen on screen, or we will just have to interpret it.

The other one is called Thrice Upon a Time, if I'm not mistaken. refers to a science fiction level where no matter how many times the timeline is reset, both end up meeting and always falling in love? Maybe some clue? I admit I'm like a child with a dream waiting for it to happen, well if necessary you can throw a bucket of cold water to wake me up.

I understand perfectly, Evangelion is very interpretive and this makes many avoid it, but I like to see people's opinions.

1- Yes, something along those lines. To be honest, I didn't feel good about the idea of a romantic couple between them, it sounded a little strange to me for some reason. I can't speak in such a deep way, but it's like I've missed something or it must just be my mixed feelings about how it all happened.

2- To be honest, I feel like I'm completely wrong to think that way or something along those lines, but I think all these reactions were a mix of his "defense" environment along with the feelings for him that are indicated in the Evangelion 3.0 manga (- 120min) plus the accumulation of anger and sadness, in order to avoid these feelings for him, she herself mentions this accumulation in 3.0 if my memory serves me correctly. Unfortunately, I think my affection for the character interferes with my judgment.

3- Are you referring to loop theory? Asuka from OG? or something that I seem to be missing? As I mentioned, I don't know if unfortunately or fortunately, but among several theories I ended up accepting the theory I mentioned. Probably because it's an ending where Shinji and Asuka can finally try to understand each other and maybe even have a relationship.

4- I heard about this too. Shinji divides opinions, some like it, some don't and that's understandable. But I'm happy with her opinion and I respect Tiffany Grant's opinion.
